‘Do not let your heart be discouraged’. Your emotions are real, and allowable. Difficult times will swell up now and then, and it’s reasonable and normal to feel things like distress, anxiety, sadness, or annoyance. By the phrase ‘do not let your heart be discouraged’, I am not saying don’t feel discouragement. Instead, I am guiding you to still acknowledge the truth of how you feel, but to also place it before Me to help you handle. I’m asking you to not let it rule your day or consume your thoughts. Instead, ‘let your heart be reassured’: I’m here, and I’m with you and for you, always.
