I see you working so hard to try to do everything “right”, yet feeling afraid that you are missing the mark or falling short. This couldn’t be further from the truth! I never ask more of you than what you’ve already been equipped to give. When that inaccurately critical voice tries to overwhelm you with distorted self-evaluation, stop and face Me. Look to My gaze, so full of complete love, reassurance, forgiveness, and ultimate acceptance. That is the truth about you. You are loving, capable, and kind. Don’t let any little flaws or misperceptions try to convince you otherwise. I love you totally, and you are Mine for all of time.

I have much to teach you about finding peace and comfort. Life certainly causes all sorts of pain: emotionally, physically, socially. The thing about My peace, though, is it is available even in the midst of really hard things. When life’s circumstances hurt or scare you, draw in to hear My voice. I love you and I am with you. Healing can and will come. Inhale confidence and exhale doubt. Find My Peace through awareness of My constant loving Presence between each breath.

The work for today is clear; that is all you need to see at this time. I have blessed your surroundings. I have equipped you with all you need; no more, no less. I am in charge. A new day is dawning. I have things for you to do in it which you are uniquely designed to handle well. Take stock in how you are treating yourself during your self-talk. Be kind and encouraging to yourself, believing in My Good plans and your capacity to fulfill them. If you catch yourself using demeaning or anxiety-producing language, stop and return to Me for reassurance. I can help rewrite those scripts. Use a language of love when talking to yourself today and don’t settle for anything less. It will have a far reach when you do, because it spills over into loving conversation with others, as well.

You don’t have to be timid or self-conscious today. I bring you into every experience with Godly confidence that you are exactly who and what is needed in that space. As you choose to trust Me and My great design for your day, let comfortable confidence arise from your core Spirit. Whatever is needed from you today is doable. I make all things work together for Good. I won’t ask more of you than what you can truly handle. Try not to look at the day ahead measuring your energy and strength against what you think it’ll take to get through. You can trust that I’ll equip you with enough stamina, and then-some. Look for ways to partner with others and share the load when the opportunity arises, too. Remember, it’s not all up to you. My hand is at work. Don’t let yourself be intimidated by anything I place before you. Believe in how capable you are.

You are God’s beloved, – a child of God, – so, believe it. Knowing this and trusting Me in this truth are two different things, but both are equally important. To know is to comprehend deep within, ingesting the words and shedding light on negative thought habits that try to tell you otherwise. God shows favor and delight in you, with great affection. Trusting this truth is taking all of this to the next level by putting into action self-care, self-confidence, and self-acceptance. When you trust that you are loved, defensiveness and false pretenses go down and fade away so the real you can shine without feeling daunted. Show love to yourself and this will radiate out, helping you to love others with ease, insight, and patience. Grasp what it feels like to know and trust God’s love for you.

I still have work for you to do, but that doesn’t have to sound or feel intimidating. My works are easy and will come naturally to you because you are designed by Me. You know what it feels like to be capable and competent based on skills you’ve honed or experiences you’ve been through in the past. Be open, therefore, to whatever I lay before you. When you are presented with something new, don’t show away or retreat out of self-doubt. Instead, say yes – even with shaky hands – because you know how to cling to My grip. Strap in for the ride ahead, picturing yourself joyfully experiencing sights unseen with Me, your reliable copilot, at your side.
