You will work through it. You always do. While others may not change, I call you to a higher standard. Concentrate on doing what you need to do and I’ll take care of the rest. You don’t have to worry about fixing things; I’ll take care of that. It’s not up to you this time. I will show you the way you shall walk. Indeed, the future is good and full of greatness! A thing to behold, really, and it is near at hand. Take hold of joy and wonder by keeping your eyes open for it.

Just Get Started

Rekindle some enthusiasm for life and fun today. You need joy in your day. It may mean devoting five minutes to some sort of hobby or creative outlet you haven’t tried in a while. Just get started. Don’t feel like you have to commit to taking on a whole project. That might overwhelm you. Give yourself credit for what you are able to contribute instead of beating yourself up for what doesn’t get done. I work like that in you: small bits at a time. Do this as your aim for holy rejuvenation, spurred on by My nudge giving you permission to take time for this. It’s important to carve out time for enjoyment.

Important Work To Be Done

You don’t have to succumb to feeling so pressured all the time. Make it your aim to go lightly through the day ahead instead of with heavy-laden, plodding steps. Put the bounce back in by not worrying so much about outcomes. I’ll take care of that part.

Yes, I want you to give your all, but I don’t want that to be driven by anxiety or crazy-making. Come to Me first with all your imagined plans and to-do lists, and let’s sort them out together. I am with you and enjoy spending the whole day together, really.

Joy, Not Drudgery

Take delight in the tasks before you today,  one at a time. Picture that I’ve laid out a “good” day for you, with things you like to do and can feel a sense of accomplishment in. I desire your joy, not drudgery. I prefer seeing your enthusiasm and optimism after so many years of sadness, anger, anxiety, and hurt. Remember, I am a loving God, continually making things new. I gather goodness out of the dust and ashes. Your encouraging spirit serves you and others well. Take heart, for I am truly with you and the desires of My heart are not different than your own. Don’t let fear or anxious anticipation of worst-case-scenarios grip you. Keep your grasp on My right hand as we move forward.
