I am with you in your brokenness. It is through the chips and cracks that I can seep in and become a part of you. Acknowledge My Presence in you. Stop feeling like you have to strive for some intangible goal of “worthiness”. See My unconditional love and acceptance reflected back to you when you look in the mirror. Learn to be tender with yourself so that you can mend from unpleasant experiences. Trust My love and acceptance, for this is truth.
Speaking truth can be a lonely place. You have eyes that see and a heart that longs for acceptance and belonging, but sometimes the ones you want to be close to cause hurt and disappointment when you speak truth. I will send supportive people to you along the way, giving you refuge for your soul in these encounters. Stay strong, facing bitter winds of rejection. Know that I will hold you upright even in the roughest challenges. I am always with you, hemming you in before, beside, and behind you.
Let people love you. Take in their kind words of acknowledgement, affection, or even admiration without your usual tendency to rip it all apart with internal self-criticism or outward deflection. I long for you to feel at peace and worthy of love. Reaching a place of self-acceptance requires releasing doubt and old traces of self-hatred. No one else is nearly as hard on you as you are of yourself. Allow My Love and Grace to enter in, deeply washing over your habit of self-rejection with compassion. Try seeing yourself through My eyes that love you unconditionally. I even love on you through others, too. Let us in; don’t close off or deflect genuine affection when it comes your way. Take it in, trusting in the truth of your worthiness.
I know the stress you have been under, dealing with constantly racing thoughts. Savor a moment with Me. Linger a while longer, resting in My gaze, and see how it changes you. I notice you lowering your eyes, afraid to acknowledge or accept My unconditional love for you, – but just try to hold My gaze again. The best way to heal your spirit is connecting with Me like this, – daily, hourly, in the moment. Whisper to yourself, “I am loved”, repeatedly. This ultimate truth can mend all brokenness and reduce the power of troubling thoughts. Let Me do a gentle takeover in your anxious mind.
