Recognize My Presence

I know you question why you can’t seem to tangibly feel My Presence. It’s hard to explain in words because the ways I am with you vary. Use all of your senses today trying to notice how I reach out to you. Learn to recognize My Presence all around you, connecting inward to your Spirit with reassurance of My love and protection. Light, color, contact with others, scents, sounds, memories…my reach to you is infinite. Trust that I am constantly with you and the evidence will unfold.

I Am Your Protector and Guide

Be gentle on yourself. Put caution tape around your fragile, vulnerable heart. When others can’t see or don’t want to know what you’ve been through, I see and I know. It’s okay to keep a safe distance, praying for those who aren’t treating you well right now. I can change these circumstances in due time. Until that happens, know that I am your Protector and Guide. You can concentrate on today while My hand is at work in you and in them.

Change Habits of Over-Commitment

You don’t have to be “on” all the time. Stepping back and taking time to unplug is equally as important as constantly striving to do and be your best self. You have become a harsh taskmaster over the years. I want you to examine and change habits of over-commitment or feelings of hyper-responsibility. Remember, I’m the One in charge. I call you to add rest breaks into your schedule. Find balance by committing quiet time with Me daily. Release your need to control everything, trusting Me with the outcomes instead. I don’t want you weighed down by over-responsibility. Come to Me, all you who labor and are weary; find rest in Me.

Slow Your Racing Thoughts

You are having a hard time shutting your mind off. The best way to cut down the busy traffic in your head and calm down is to stop and focus on something colorful in your surroundings. Take in every detail of whatever catches your eye, picturing My hand crafting its formation. Catch the sounds stirring around you, sent by Me to whisper reminders of My loving Presence. Consider all as gifts to help slow your racing thoughts. My Peace I give freely and abundantly to you in any given moment. Stop your anxiety-prone mind frequently and pay attention, for I am ALWAYS with you.

Challenges Handled With Care

Let Me soothe your soul. Take in deep breaths, choosing to mentally inhale trust and exhale needless worry. No matter what happens, I’ll help see you through. Picture your current challenges as if they are packaged in a brown box, attended to by you for a little while. Deliver each one on to Me so I can ship them off labelled “handled with care”. I do care about you and your every concern. I’ll get you through safely and securely.

Relaxed and Focused

I can tell when you are wrestling with thoughts and emotions that consume more energy and attention than they deserve. Shrug those worries off as much as you can by focusing on My way of loving. Learn to leave the past in the past; don’t keep mulling it over. The more you can live conscious of My Presence in the present and My plan to work all things together for Good, the more relaxed and focused you will become. Ask Me what needs to happen today and trust Me to show you, minute by minute. Come to Me all you who are weary and find life full of burdens; I will give you rest from your worries.

Reassurance

Don’t get caught up in trying to imagine everything and work it all out in your head. I don’t work that way. Instead, let the worries of today fall away for a second as you face Me in your mind. Take a deep breath and continue to seek My face. You don’t have to fear what I’m going to say. My words are always of reassurance. You are okay – and loved. I’m right here beside you and am never going to leave your side. Let’s step into today together, trusting that I’ve made you ready and equipped you for any tasks or encounters that take place. I can and will help you focus, giving you right words to say when the time comes. You can be brave with Me at your side.

Let Peace Be Your Friend

Let Peace be your friend today. Link arms and enter rooms slowly and observantly together, aware that My Presence is with you in each place you go. Look knowingly to My Spirit accompanying you as your BFF (Best Friend Forever). You don’t have to get so worked up or anxious. I’ve got this, and we are together for every move. Take confidence, using deep breaths to calm yourself as aided by My Peaceful companionship. We’re in it all together. 

Reduce the Power of Troubling Thoughts

I know the stress you have been under, dealing with constantly racing thoughts. Savor a moment with Me. Linger a while longer, resting in My gaze, and see how it changes you. I notice you lowering your eyes, afraid to acknowledge or accept My unconditional love for you, – but just try to hold My gaze again. The best way to heal your spirit is connecting with Me like this, – daily, hourly, in the moment. Whisper to yourself, “I am loved”, repeatedly. This ultimate truth can mend all brokenness and reduce the power of troubling thoughts. Let Me do a gentle takeover in your anxious mind.
