Sometimes you are uneasy inside, even without a reason. That general sense of anxiety and worry merely stems from old habits. In the past, you had to feel prepared for many unknowns on high alert because the people you were with or experiences you were in felt unsafe. I am and have always been your rock of safety and your shelter from the storm. Even now, I pull you out of anxious places and show you people and places with healthy support. Look to Me as you develop new habits of calm and ease. You needn’t worry about things that most likely will never happen. Picture the best-case scenario today and watch as I help make it unfold.

Take Breaks From Thinking Too Much

Be wary of things that fill your mind with needless worry. Instead, take intentional breaks from thinking too much. Get up, soak in the views I place in your presence. Notice the beauty, the stillness, and color or sounds. Focus on whatever seems to catch your eye, and acknowledge My companionship in whatever you experience. Remind yourself that you are Mine. In momentary breaks like this I will bless you with the peace of mind you crave.

The Ideas Will Come

Be patient; the ideas will come. I love to feed your thoughts with new things – GOOD things. I Am the Great Creator, designing and weaving images and messages to inspire all around…just listen for them. When it is the right time, I will provide you with all you need to concentrate on and do. Trust Me all the while, even in the waiting, for I am trustworthy and will come through.

Build Calmness Into Your Day

You don’t have to be so rushed. There are ways to build calmness into your day, and into your head and heart. Choose to sit still, closing your eyes if you can, and concentrate on slow, deep breathing. Notice the Light pouring into your eyes, even through closed lids. Repel thoughts of tasks waiting to be done, deflecting them out of your mind intentionally as you seek My calming Presence. Soak it in. Repeat these mantras until My truth settles in: All is well. I am yours. Hear My voice.

Aim for What is Doable

I am a reassuring God. I often see you pushing yourself, striving for that unattainable perfection and trying to be the most thoughtful, capable person who is always on top of everything. Allow Me to bless you with full acceptance of your efforts; I deem them to truly be enough. Yes, I want you to be kind, loving and thoughtful and to use your talents well, but not at the expense of beating yourself up with unrealistic expectations. My bar for you is no higher than what you can comfortably and reasonably accomplish today, – no more and no less. Aim for what is doable and leave the rest for Me to attend. Accept My fully pleased response to you, which never has to be earned. I give it freely.

Let Today Be Gentle

Let today be a gentle day. Walk at an easy pace, soaking in whatever you observe in your surroundings. Take note of how My Light shifts and highlights things slowly around you. Learn how to hone in your observation of things like this and find its calming effect. I want to help you reduce all unnecessary stress, and this kind of slowing will help. Breathe in trust, exhale doubt.

I Am Never Disappointed In You

First and foremost, I want you to comprehend that I am never disappointed in you. It is you who puts critical judgement on your emotions, actions, and thoughts, – deeming them as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and equating them with worthiness. I don’t operate that way, though. I want you to know you are worth loving and being attended to. Allow yourself to receive My unconditional love. See how it changes you to become a person at peace, just as you are called and designed to be.

Soothe Frazzled Nerves

Take your time today. Move slower, – ‘mindfully’, as some call it. Try emptying your mind of all those to-dos and just be a listener and observer in the moment. See how much this soothes frazzled nerves and replenishes your reserves for the day ahead. Take in the quiet, trusting Me with how the day will play out. You don’t have to have it all mapped out. Take it easier today, leaning into trust of My design.

Sit Still

It’s a gift to truly sit still, absorbing sights and sounds in the present moment. You can allow memories to surface, or thoughts and imagined scenarios for future events to rise and be acknowledged, but try to return to awareness of the present. Now, picture Me sitting with you, – noticing the same things that catch your attention. Smile at our connectedness that occurs without words. I am oh-so-familiar with your every thought and reaction. Tenderly, turn your gaze to Me, sensing My all-consuming love for you. Push busy-ness aside and see what joy I can stir up for you as you spend time with Me like this. Let Me re-energize you by restoring balance and rest in your life.

Roll With the Circumstances

You have what it takes. Speak boldly, as I have prepared you to do. Also speak kindly, with nurturing words toward yourself and others. Nothing needs to rile you. You can easily choose to roll with the circumstances that come upon you today, knowing I am with you no matter what happens next. I am present even in the unexpected, so don’t allow anxiety to cast a shadow over the bright things about to happen. You can handle everything when opting to do it in partnership with Me and under My Good plans for you.
