“Not Today”

You don’t have to let yourself get all panic-stricken today (or any day, really!). Keep those fearful imaginings and worst-case-scenarios at bay by mentally putting your hand up and saying “Nope! Not today. It isn’t going to play out that way.” Replace worried thinking with images of you and I being together, calmly observing life unfolding peaceably. I want that for you. Picture good outcomes and smiling encounters. Notice the Light around you and inside you. Be confident in the light-filled ways that I work in, through, and near you today. Even on days when you are energized, still try to do just one thing at a time. Multi-tasking may trip you up, lending itself to frenetic behavior and added, undue anxiety. Slow and steady. Use that energy to focus on listening and pausing for clarity from Me. Let Me guide your steps today.

Time With Me Isn’t Wasted

You’re not wasting time when you spend it with Me. I help you get into gear and focus. I calm you down whenever you push the pause button and remember to join Me in trust for My design of your day. Yes, I want you to give your all, but I don’t want that to be driven by anxiety or crazy-making. Come to Me first with all your imagined plans and to-do lists, and let’s sort them out together. I am with you and enjoy spending the whole day together, really.

Calming Your Nervousness

Some days are quieter than others. Instead of waiting and listening for some miraculous words from Me, I encourage you to be still and practice awareness of My constant Presence. I am near. I am here, always. You can be profoundly reassured by this truth. Let Me ready you for the day, calming your nervousness with a simple “Hush, my love”. You are LOVED and you are MINE, fully and forever. Repeat this message until it is heard deep within, palpable and grasped.

More Than a Sedentary Life

It’s okay to take it easier now and then, but a sedentary lifestyle promotes depression. I desire more for you than a sedentary life. More activity, more interest, more creativity. Get your act in gear. I will help. Shift to a “let’s DO something” mindset and see how you inspire others when you do so. It doesn’t have to be activity that others notice, though. Just start by moving about, and this will help energize and motivate you.

When You Are Worn Out

When you are worn out, sad, or fearful, I see it all. Today is a new day, though. I ask you to attend to self-care first before helping others. When you feel unsafe, fragile, or broken, I am here; at work in you and in your life. Your Goodness touches others in ways you don’t even realize. Instead of focusing on what you haven’t gotten done, replenish your spirit by knowing My renewing Grace is free. I am here to help you be self-forgiving and clean out those messy thoughts trying to put yourself down. Find rest and comfort with Me as we rebuild your strength and self-esteem.

Stop Being So Crabby

It is in your nature to be joyful, so ask for My help to stop you from being so crabby and anxious. Take a nap, or find ways to rest. Put away the things that are stressing you out for an hour or a day so you can come back to the work I intend for you without dreading it. I never want you working from a place of dread and angst. Don’t Look Back

Don’t look back. Too many people get anxious over past conversations and decisions. What is done is already done, so leave it to Me to work all things into something Good and helpful. Nothing you’ve experienced will go to waste. I make you stronger, wiser, and more compassionate by allowing you to experience life in your free will. Live in 24-hour increments and you will find a life of greater peace and ease.
