Quiet the Chatter Inside Your Head

You can live calmly and grounded. It takes conscious effort, though, to push aside distractions and quiet the chatter inside your head. So much of what spins in there is just imagined scenarios that never come into fruition. Ground yourself in the here and now. Stop, take a breath, and look around you – observing color or sounds in this present moment. Appreciate the gift of time slowing down when you hone in on My Presence with you right here, right now. Be at ease as you trust in My Goodness. I am looking out for you, always.

Allow Me to Take the Pressure Off

There are so many things clamoring for your attention as you replay thoughts from previous encounters or imagine interactions yet to come. Both are needless activities. I call you to awareness of the present! You are Mine. Stop and take stock of everything I am providing in this very moment: food, warmth, love, safety, security, – plans for your welfare, not for dismay! Your flesh and bones are in working condition for the tasks I have in store for you. Stop agonizing over insignificant details. Give in to My Will, discovering how I make life flourish for you. Abundant, tender, meaningful life. As you rely on Me to take care of you, worries about the future will lessen. My reliable provision is there for you, so allow Me to take the pressure off.

Give Yourself Time to Think Things Through

Be slower to move in response to things today. Give yourself time to think things through and filter them from My perspective. I will help determine what needs a response now verses what can wait until later, helping to make things flow more effectively. The aim is to not be overwhelmed and to be less stressed by whatever comes at you. I will lead you on the path of ease and calm.

A More Leisurely Route

Pace yourself. One thing at a time; one foot in front of the other. Instead of being like a boulder perched at the top  of a steep hill that gets pushed over the edge only to roll faster and faster as you gain momentum toward the bottom, pick a more leisurely route. It may take longer to get to the destination, but the slower pace will allow you to take in and impact so much more along the way. Don’t berate yourself for moving slower than you are accustomed to doing. Recognize that I join you on this journey, and My timing is perfect. What can stand against this plan if I am with you?

Treat Self and Others with Compassion

Take notice: I call to you subtly and softly when you slow your mind’s activity enough to be aware of My Presence. I am not just “near”, – I am within you, looking out through your eyes and surrounding you fully. There’s no need to spend so much time comparing, contrasting and rating yourself against others. This sadness Me, because all I ask is for you to love one another and yourself. Learn to recognize the built-in Goodness inherently pairing you and I. This will help you treat yourself and others with more compassion. I will protect you from harm when you encounter ridicule from others who don’t know or trust My Presence. Just continue the Good work I have started in you and spread the news of hope and love. Rejoice in the dawn of this day!

Unnecessary Anxiety

You’ve lived a life filled with constant concerns, some of which are real and valid. Other times they cause you unnecessary panic and anxiety, with you running at a hectic and frantic pace. I am leading you into a new era! There is a time for everything, and now is the time for peace within. Learn the art of slowing. Engage with each moment presented to you, training yourself in the discipline of attending to one thing at a time.  Take notice of all that I am doing in, through, and around you as you sit back in a wondrous stance absorbing the marvelous view. All is well when you really stop to think about it. Stop with all the relentless striving and take stock in the goodness and calming I am offering to replenish your soul. I call you when you are needed, but I also give you rest. Simply be thankful.

Stop Beating Yourself Up

I am already pleased with you. Act accordingly today out of mutual affection for Me, not as a needless attempt to earn My affection. My love for you and appreciation of you is already there. Stop beating yourself up. Walk mindfully, step by stop, trusting that all that is needed of you today will get done. Learn to find My endless supply of peace deep within as you leave outcomes up to Me. My desire for you is to know you are loved. That is all.

Blanket of Love

Wrap yourself in My blanket of love and allow Me to warm you to your core. Be released from the discomforting chill of worry, stress, pain, and unrest. Wrap it tightly, and take enough time under it to allow Me to work on you. I can recharge you, soften your edges, and refocus your mind if you elect to stay here long enough. You can put it on anytime throughout the day and feel its medicinal effects on your spirit.

I Make All Things Manageable

You are tired. I see your fatigue. Allow Me to slow the pace today. I can renew your energy simply by not overwhelming you. Take it easier – just one thing at a time. There is so much benefit to slowing this way. You can be intentional about not taking on more than what is needed. Let others step up to the plate, and relax as you hand off some of that responsibility. Don’t forget that I am yours for the day, too, so hand some of it off to Me, as well. I will lighten your load and make all things manageable.

Focus On One Thing

You can choose to rise above any darkness that seeks to distract you. Hone in on one thing at a time, mindfully approaching each task and every personal encounter with your full attention to whatever is in front of you in the moment. Do not worry about discerning or controlling a laundry list of things to do. Instead, be receptive to My nudge that brings that one thing into focus. This way you can accomplish My works without getting your feathers ruffled. See how the pressures of life are lessened when you practice the art of mounting up and taking on just one task at a time.
