As you choose to live more aware of My Love for you, you’ll discover benefits like being more calm and experiencing resulting peace within. You can feed yourself well today. You may even find yourself better able to make healthy choices, – not over-indulging, but being satisfied with just enough (no more, no less). Discover balance between the tasks before you and good self-care as you pause to reflect on your with-God life. You’ll see that there’s no need to rush around. Pace yourself slowly and wisely, mindful that I am by your side with every step. Walk with Me, calm, holy and beloved.

Truly, I urge you to take the pressure off. Subtly and pervasively, you have been ingrained to be constantly doing, ‘performing’, accomplishing, and ‘succeeding’. It must be exhausting, always trying to measure up to self-imposed standards of perfection. My expectations are radically different. Certainly I appreciate your effort, drive, and skills; but I also appreciate quiet time spent with Me, without agendas. Practice a spiritual aim of being present in the moment, and perhaps less time-oriented. Just “be”, and see the benefit of My peace descending as a result.

It’s OK to go slowly today. You don’t have to rush into, through, or out of things. Take your time, noticing the little things you might otherwise have missed if you hurried. Appreciate that My hand is at work in, through, and around you, – moment by moment. See how calming this is, and how it eliminates anxiety. All is well.

When you sit with Me, pushing the pause button on the rest of the day, it’s easier to experience how calming My Presence can be. Take the effort to pause, making the time to rest in My Light and comfort long enough to reassure you. No matter what lies ahead in this day or the next, you don’t have to live frantically driven by anxiety anymore. You can live cupped in the palm of My hands, steadying you and bracing you for the things you face. Gratitude will flow easily from this. No matter what, I’ll be there, giving exactly enough comfort and strength to accept and bear what is.
Don’t forget about Me. I know it’s easy to get caught up in thoughts and activities, inadvertently pushing awareness of Me to the back burner of your mind. Find ways to move Me to the front: notes, visual aides, intentional activities, and rituals help like lighting a candle or posting a note. The more you “invest” in awareness of Me and the help I have constantly available for you, the more calm and focused you’ll become as a result. Put Me in charge of your day, seeking to know, see, and experience all I have in store for you. Notice what this does to your Spirit, helping you manage anxiety. My aim is for Goodness and I long for you to partner with Me in every moment of it.
