Quiet the Chatter Inside Your Head

You can live calmly and grounded. It takes conscious effort, though, to push aside distractions and quiet the chatter inside your head. So much of what spins in there is just imagined scenarios that never come into fruition. Ground yourself in the here and now. Stop, take a breath, and look around you – observing color or sounds in this present moment. Appreciate the gift of time slowing down when you hone in on My Presence with you right here, right now. Be at ease as you trust in My Goodness. I am looking out for you, always.

Available Moment by Moment

Just because you are taking on new tasks does not mean you have to lose contact with Me. Moment by moment, I am available to you. Find true quiet moments, – at the table, in the shower or car, wherever you can remember to stop and pause, – and make yourself open to Me. This quiet, genuine communion will have a powerful impact, because it’s a union that no other can destroy. Our connectivity will be warm, understanding, and patient. It is welcoming and inviting, grounded in love. Find how calming it is to be attentive to our deep connectedness. Breathe in deep drafts of My love for you and find healing and freedom in our relationship. I desire to bless you daily with this kind of help. Seek Me and find Me with you.

So You Can Breathe Easier

I am your God, and able to be sovereign over your life in Good ways if you let Me. Allow Me the authority to help shape your thoughts and guide your actions today. Find how freeing it is to let go of all the things you think you can or should try to control, and instead watch with curiosity to see how I make things turn out when you give me free reign. You have the power to do that in your own mind and heart. Let Me in and allow Me to take over for a change so you can breathe easier. I love you and I desire to give you peace.

Build Calmness Into Your Day

You don’t have to be so rushed. There are ways to build calmness into your day, and into your head and heart. Choose to sit still, closing your eyes if you can, and concentrate on slow, deep breathing. Notice the Light pouring into your eyes, even through closed lids. Repel thoughts of tasks waiting to be done, deflecting them out of your mind intentionally as you seek My calming Presence. Soak it in. Repeat these mantras until My truth settles in: All is well. I am yours. Hear My voice.

Unexpected Turns

Days like this are all part of My wonderful design. Soak in the freedom to breathe, plan, be active, and laugh. It’s okay to not have everything mapped out. Sometimes the quirky turns of the unexpected are exactly where My blessing lives. Act upon instinct with exuberance and don’t be afraid to initiate big things. I give you these imaginings so that you can bear My fruit. I love it when you live joyfully; your passion is contagious and is meant to uplift the spirit of others, so hear My call to spread good news of great joy.

Give Room to Pause

Walk with Me at My pace. Let things slow down a bit and give room to pause now and then. Take a break from noise, electronics, and social media. Look outdoors. Breathe in the stillness and calm. You are so hard-wired to be doing things all the time, but I tell you it’s OK and good to NOT “do” for a while. You are learning the beauty and importance of mastering this skill. Just be and soak it all in with amazement and wonder. Notice the calming effect this has on you and your perspective. Grace-filled moments are all around, so be replenished as life and next steps unfold.

Concentrate Only on What is Needed

Let Me help you quiet yourself. Listen for My still, small voice saying “I am with you”. When you sense anxiety encroaching upon your thoughts and body, ward it off by grasping My hand in confidence that I am equipping you. I protect you, and you are Mine. No amount of work, tasks, or unanticipated events will take you away from My loving and all-powerful Presence. Sense My nearness, and remember to concentrate only on what is needed today in the present, – especially if your head is filled with other concerns. Breathe. Slow down. I will give you all that you need so you can go with confidence.

Let Today Be Gentle

Let today be a gentle day. Walk at an easy pace, soaking in whatever you observe in your surroundings. Take note of how My Light shifts and highlights things slowly around you. Learn how to hone in your observation of things like this and find its calming effect. I want to help you reduce all unnecessary stress, and this kind of slowing will help. Breathe in trust, exhale doubt.

The Driver’s Seat

My desire is to give you true peace of mind. Today, try pulling back if you find yourself moving into an anxious driver’s seat. Slide over to the passenger side and hand Me the keys to take you where you need to go. I will help navigate the turns, and I know which speed is needed for each length of the road. Breathe easier with Me in the driver’s seat and you safely buckled in by My loving hand. I won’t steer you wrong.

You don’t have to travel or get away to experience joy and pleasure. Sometimes I provide that right in your own backyard. Accept My invitation to look around and find things to be grateful for. Simple things: color, light, and sounds can lift your spirit. Be reassured that I am all around you and attending to the things you have been stressing about so you can let go of them. Breathe in My fresh air and be refreshed by My gentle Presence.
