I Am Your Protector and Guide

Be gentle on yourself. Put caution tape around your fragile, vulnerable heart. When others can’t see or don’t want to know what you’ve been through, I see and I know. It’s okay to keep a safe distance, praying for those who aren’t treating you well right now. I can change these circumstances in due time. Until that happens, know that I am your Protector and Guide. You can concentrate on today while My hand is at work in you and in them.

Be Open to My Call

Hear Me: I need you. You are Mine. These things go hand-in-hand. Spend time together with Me first every day so you can settle your thoughts and be in tune with My unconditional Love for you. With this as your starting place, you’ll become aware of what I ask of you today, knowing full well that I’m your backbone, protector, and guide. I won’t push you beyond what you are ready for. Be open to My call, which ALWAYS starts from a place of Love. If fear tries to come into play, breathe deeply of My reassurance and tell it you can’t be tricked into not believing all you are capable of today.

Stick Close to Me

Stick close to Me. I know your anxious ways, but I would rather have you come to Me for reassurance. All is well. You are set to do the right thing today. My hand is at your back, gently guiding you from place to place. Breathe in confidence, knowing I’ve prepared you for whatever is at hand. You’ve got this; I’ve made you ready.

When Things Get Dicey

The path you are on might get a little rough.  There may be uneven surfaces and elevations that challenge your balance and stamina. I can help when it’s not going smoothly. Lean into Me as your sturdy walking stick.  When things get dicey, ask for My help to watch your step and your words. Respond with caution and use My lead to guide you, steady you, and bear some of the weight.  Don’t forget about the view up ahead! You will get there, and it will be spectacular. I can keep you safe and protect you from a fall, especially if you slow down and allow Me to guide you over the rocky spots.

Release the Offense

It’s too easy to focus on little hurts you’ve experienced, but I don’t want you to get caught up in that mess. The smallest offense tends to tumble downhill, building up into giant imaginings of being judged and criticized. Don’t fall into that trap again. Quickly release the offense, reminding yourself you don’t have to take it personally. Ask Me for help to let things roll off your back. Be reminded that I love you no matter what. You are always welcome at my table regardless of the opinions or actions of others. Release the hurt and run into My arms instead.

Get Your Drive Back

You will get your “drive” back. Sometimes I call you to slow down, and even to stop. I don’t mean for you to entirely back out of life and all of its commitments.  Balance is the key and pausing to spend time with Me daily is the fuel you need. Fill up on My reassurance and love for you. Take in gallons of encouragement. My ways are gentle and kind, and I want you to treat yourself well with the same intention. Put the brakes on when anxiety and self-hatred try to take the driver’s seat. Order them to get out of the car; they don’t belong there. Let Me take over, steering you in the right direction. My ride is meant to be safe and slow, giving you ample time to take in the scenery. 

Timing

“Timing is everything”. My timing is mystical. I’m not random with My purpose, though. Sometimes I nudge you boldly into action, and other times I hold you back from change until I know you are ready. The events in your life may also be created for the benefit of OTHERS, not necessarily your own. Take joy in trusting My divine crafting of your life events. Try not to disdain your circumstances. I know what I am doing, and there will be benefit for you in due time. 

Don’t Give In to Anxious Habits

Old presumptions and misguided worries do not have to drive you anymore. Don’t give in to those anxious habits, imagining things going wrong or assuming you are being judged critically. Everything is not going to fall apart. Instead, try cutting back on all the texting and social media that bombard you with messages. Live in a quieter space where you can regain awareness of Me again. You will find contentment and inner peace this way, derived from My guidance and Light within.

The Great Healer

I am the Great Healer touching every wound and soreness. You are dealing with illness and stress; parts of your body are struggling. Discomfort and worry are vying for time in your head. Sit still. Breathe. Really, – breathe deep and relax, clearing your mind out and being present in front of Me. I am watching over you. Whatever needs to be revealed will be shown in due time. Worrying about it won’t help; trusting Me will! I attend to all things – even your uncomfortable symptoms. Picture Me as physician, listening and attending to your description of whatever concerns you. Do what you can to be healthy and well, and let Me take care of the rest. 

Pressed for Time

You are pressed for time so often. Spending thought time with Me is essential for finding your way to My peaceful realms. Try not to skip out on conversations with Me that can be had, intentionally, wherever you go. Find Me ever-ready to listen and guide. The more you spend time with Me, the easier it is to hear My voice clearly. Let Me reassure you “It will all be okay.” Trust Me with this life-truth.
