Restoration Project

You concentrate so much on showing love to others, which I appreciate.  You glorify Me when you do that.  But when you give to the point of exhaustion it means you have forgotten to allow yourself My gifts to YOU.  I call you to rest; I strengthen and replenish you as needed, too.  I call you to RECEIVE.  Have you allowed yourself to receive grace from others? If someone wants to lavish you with thoughtfulness, kindness or attention, allow yourself to receive it.  Don’t back away.  Like Mary Magdalene pouring precious oils to anoint Me, I want to pour abundant blessings upon you.  Don’t minimize the importance of these gestures, or turn away in misguided humility.  It is part of My “restoration project” – restoring your soul for infinite bonding with Me.  Receive, with gratitude.  Let me overwhelm you with LOVE.

 

Natural Self

There is power in connection and re-connection. Power to heal, power to anoint. Power to move forward and make new things happen. Keep listening, reaching out to those in need of My hand at work in renewed relationships. See how I make all things new.  Notice how involved I am as you reach out to others. I have called all to new life in Me. Simply speak the truth about that which you already know. Your beauty comes forth when you do that – eloquent and sincere.  I designed you to be this authentic self, without pretenses around others. Your humor, your sensitivity, your awareness of others needs and their desire for acknowledgement makes you a wondrous spiritual tool in My kingdom. Do not doubt your greatness or your capacity, and do not fear it. Let My Light shine BOLDLY in you today, without hesitation or concerns for “what others are thinking”. Be your natural self, and trust that this is Good.

Hungry for Joy

Don’t allow anything to “steal your joy”. Not bills, not misguided desires for comfort, excess, belonging, or surplus wealth.  Self-consciousness is another trap, – locking you in places I do not wish you to be. Try to not allow the words of others impact you so much. When you give weight and power to the opinions of others, it tugs you away from awareness of My Presence and My constant love for you. Step aside from these traps. Walk safely next to Me, away from the dark thieves trying to entice you around corners that do not truly satisfy. Find the purity and simplicity of My joy, an unending well of supply available for you. There is Light around the corner when you take My hand. Instead of wishing for things that aren’t present in your life, or fearing things imagined but not actualized, acknowledge all the ways I am meeting your needs in the present moment.  I long to meet and fulfill your hunger for true joy. 

Water

You’ve heard me say it before: “Peace is flowing like a river”. What a glorious thing to take in: a whole RIVER of peace! Calm, restful waters; abundant flow; never-ending in its source and well-spring of goodness.  For some this river will seem as if it’s located in a different land, far away from you…but this is not accurate.  This river is glistening for YOU, awaiting your footsteps and wanting you to walk toward its shoreline.  Come to Me, all you who are weary and find life burdensome.  Come lay beside My restful waters.  Wash your hands clean of the stains and muddied hurts from the past. Rinse away the worries in My water of refreshment. If there are tears to shed, add them to My river flow and watch them flow downstream, where Grace will transform them from sadness to peace elsewhere for others who will need your comfort shared with them.  All things will be turned into good in My hands.

My Presence

Hush. Breathe. Silence.

I speak to you daily – in the wind, the sights, the sounds.  Calm your Spirit.  Learn to REST FULLY IN MY PRESENCE.  Absorb My LIGHT.  I AM in you, around you, near you.  Look for Me in this day.  See Me in the eyes of others.  Don’t be scared!  Stop your worries about what others are thinking about you.  Walk humbly and confidently, at peace with others and with yourself.  When you start falling backwards into self-reproach, grasp My hand.  TRUST ME MORE.  My plans are as they should be.  Walk with Me. Take comfort in Me.  My Presence is HERE, NOW, & FOREVER MORE.  Good will for you.
