I Make Things Fall Into Place

Ask Me to help quiet your busy mind. Breathe in the peace and calm I surround you with. Picture that My intentions for you are Good. When you release your futile attempts to control things around you, you can then realize I help make things fall into place. Much of your stress can be whisked away. Yes, you will have daily challenges, struggles, and limitations, but elect to rise above them on the rock I provide. Step up with My perspective and take view of My Grace, which will always aid you in resolving the matter of the moment. When you feel most flustered by all that is coming at you, stand still and recognize I am at your side. Nothing can stand against us. 

No Need To Be Defensive

You are tired. I need you to quiet your thoughts and listen to Me. It is time to replenish the well. Doing so will help your anger dissipate, too. There is no need to be on the defensive. Walk with Me. Bring Me into each encounter. Find that My Presence holds the stillness and calming you need. As you use My gentle eyes, you will be more compassionate and forgiving with others, recognizing that behind their aggression is fear and insecurity. I am watching and involved. My Goodness will permeate here.

Craving Calm

There is so much I want to shed Light on in your life. Habits to change, insights to gain. As much as you are craving a sense of calm, I want to supply that even more for you. Seek My Peace, and follow after it. In other words, choose first to recognize your anxious habits as a starting point and next, interject quiet moments with deep breathing as you seek awareness of My constant Presence. To follow after peace means giving yourself mental reminders and self-talk to confirm ALL IS WELL. With Me as your trustworthy Savior, you can and will get through anything, – even having peace of mind ruling your day. Pursue an anxiety-free lifestyle using this thought: My Peace I give to you…but not as the world thinks of peace, as in everything always turning out the way  you want. My way leads you to experience and discover that love always wins and peace can reign over your heart no matter what.

Prayerful Exercise

Just as your body needs exercise to stay well, so does your mind and Spirit. Devoting time for prayerful exercise, working on being calm and building muscles of trust in Me daily, will do much for your wellness. Watch your attitude match your capability as you head into the day, facing the unknown with complete trust that I will equip and sustain you. I supply just enough of what you need to get through your day. I am a reliable God, and I won’t be stingy or absent when it comes to meeting your needs. Make your prayer requests known to Me and exercise trust and gratitude in the fact that I hear and attend to your every need. 

Attend to the Hurt Responsibly

Kindness: show it, accept it, receive it from Me. I understand your annoyance, hurt, and anger. Your emotions are reasonable. It’s what you do with them that matters. Attend to the hurt responsibly. Figure out what is beneath the anger, then learn how to express that constructively with loving and good intentions behind the message. Walk away if and when needed. You don’t have to be reactive to everything that stirs up your dander. Come to Me as the Great Counselor. I’ll help. Together let’s prayerfully process everything so I can soothe and calm you. I’ll give you ideas for what to say and when and how to do it.

Listen To Small Things

Allow Me to calm you. Take these peaceful, quiet moments when you can get them and appreciate how I call you to rest. Sometimes what you need most is to stop and be silent. Listen to small things – clocks ticking, birds calling, washing machine humming, – whatever is going on. Just take notice and appreciate how calming this can be. Then, remind yourself of one of my most important phrases: “Be still, and know that I am God.” I am YOUR God, lovingly present and bringing good out of every circumstance. As you breathe in this truth, exhale doubt and fear.

Get Settled

Concentrate on the word “settle” today. Settle in and strive to be comfortable with where you are at and what is going on in your life, because I have you exactly where you are needed for now. Even when the world around is seems to be in chaos, I can help you settle down. Ask for My help to get settled internally, resting with peace and confidence in My loving companionship. All is well, even if it isn’t as extraordinary as you’d prefer. Enjoy My calming Presence with you in whatever position I have placed you in today, trusting how I work and keeping faith in the greater Good to rise above all else.

Alert In The Present

Why do you fill your head with anxious thoughts, problems to analyze, and preparing for things that haven’t even arisen as concerns yet? You spend so much energy planning ahead for things that never happen. Try practicing being alert in the present today instead. Notice the play of light outside your window. Feel the cool air coming inside. Take in each sound: clock ticking, birds calling, dog barking, the ceiling fan. Notice the variety of colors and textures as you move your eyes to slowly scan left to right. In quiet observance of things around you, you can take your mind off the “to-do list” and see the calming effect being with Me in the present can bring.  Now, thank Me for the with-God life you have readily available at your fingertips. Go in peace.

Permission to Take Breaks

Things will get done. You like everything neat and tidied up. I watch you aiming for no loose ends and mentally forming strategies to handle everything before you in an effort to not feel overwhelmed. Today I invite you to meet Me and relax even with the undone. Give yourself permission to take breaks. As you sit and are present with Me in the moment, My Grace is attending to your every need. Allow Me to soothe your frazzled mind as you practice being still. Know My love for you is real.

Stop In the Moment

Difficulties and mood changes come and go in ebbs and tides. The trick to mastering them is to stop in the moment and look for Me. I want to reassure you, – guiding you to actions and acceptance so that you can experience My kind of peace. No matter what you are facing, I am present in those circumstances and helping. All will be well. You can find calmness when you stop to acknowledge our relationship and My sovereignty over your life (and the lives of those you love and worry about, too). Choose to breathe in trust.
