Stop trying to ‘be all that’ to everyone around you. I call you to obedience to My ways, not worrying about the impression you make on others. My ways may call you to be quiet and reflective as I replenish your mind and shift your direction. Open yourself to listening for My word and My guidance. I have many powerful and enriching things to teach you in this process, but I require an attentive student. Learn My lessons of love. For now, that is enough. Later I may call you to act justly or walk boldly, but for now I need a reflective, receptive stance from you. Listen and watch for what I want you to hear.

Holy Timing
Delays in timing. Earth is so time-bound, and many tend to be impatient. Learning to ride the ebb and tide of events with acknowledgement of the Holy Movement guiding the current is a faith skill worth developing. This takes trust in the Master! Trust that I am looking out for you, that I am always involved and leading you exactly where you are most needed in the present as well as in the future. My intentions are good. If you are wrestling with the lack of movement or outcomes you don’t understand, stop. Pause. Consider how I used you already in this day. Who did you encounter? What did you feel drawn to notice or attend to? Act when I urge you to, planting seeds of consideration. Find My hand involved, and gather peace in that moment. Grace will carry you on with holy timing. Nothing is insurmountable.
Outcomes
You worry so much about doing things “right”. While I appreciate your effort, sometimes it is too focused on pursuing perfection and not on simply finding ME. I desire relationships more than outcomes. Your work in the material world requires data and measurable results. The challenge for you will be meeting those requirements, yet not being swayed by them. Achievements, ‘status’, accomplishments, ‘proof’, recognition… Yes, I made you to do the work you are doing, but I also call you to rest in My love and My presence, trusting that the only outcomes and results I ask for are based on love, forgiveness, and moving in faith. My kingdom is built by those cornerstones. I will continue to attend to all of your needs, with more than adequate supply of daily bread. Move steadily through this day, attending to each task or encounter with a countenance of peace, and a demeanor that shows love. This is all I ask. I will equip you for all things. I am ALWAYS with you; nothing I call you to will ever have to be done alone.
Richness
You are richer than you think. When you look through narrowed eyes, seeing only earthly values, it feels like it’s never enough. Let Me widen your perspective to see all I am doing in your life. Blessing upon blessing, from every angle. More than enough to satisfy. See the truth in this richness. Relax your standards, and release your burdens to Me. Allow simplicity to rule today. Expend your energy only on the task that is before you, without giving in to the tendency to heap plans and worries on top. Widen your eyes to see all I am doing in this present moment. I care about you ever so deeply. Lift your eyes to the heavens when you most need to see where you are going, then practice the art of ENTRUSTING ME with the planning. I go before you, behind you, above you, inside you, – everywhere you go, I go.
My Design
My pen stroke is light and sweeps across the tablet of your life, – outlining your path, forming your words, sketching your beauty. Picture Me, your Great Creator, adoring My design: YOU. Do you not see and marvel at the intricacy of My creation? Your physical self, your mind, your dreams….they are tightly interwoven with Me. You and I are part of each other. I am not distant, nor do I frown upon you. I delight in My Creation. My hope is for you to recognize the Greatness within. Don’t try to bury the Light or tuck it away in misguided shyness or self-consciousness. Beam with our united presence in every step you take today, lighting the rooms you enter.
Down Time
How you define usefulness and how I judge are not always the same thing. You are prone and programmed to measure by volume of tasks completed and number of goals achieved. I may only ask for minimal things, wanting instead for you to spend loving, quality time with Me or with others. It’s okay to slow your pace down for a while. When I give you opportunities for space like this, take advantage of it. I designed “down time” to help restore and replenish your soul. Take a right turn on Easy Street for a pleasant detour, and stop driving yourself so hard for a change. Delight in My Presence and in your surroundings. Acknowledge Me as your vision and appreciation for the little things opens up, widening your perspective. Take it easy, storing up treasures of energy for another day when it will be needed.
Hunger and Satisfaction
What are you hungry for? Attention? Prestige? Stability? Excess? Find your ultimate security and pleasure in Me first. When you fix your eyes on Me, something happens to the appeal for other things. Your desires can be for good when brought into focus through My Lighting. You may need to release your grip for a while, allowing Me to take away that which is unhealthy for you and to re-order your priorities. Be hungry for Love, and for the Good of all. Stand ready to supply support and encouragement. Take notice of times when you need to retreat into the background. I will organize for the greater Good, and you will find satisfaction as you see My works unfold. Be filled with holy desire. We are One.
Not So Serious
Live up to MY expectations, not your own. Mine are softer than you think. Your pursuits and goals must be in line with the needs of My kingdom, and I want you to do what comes naturally and easily to you. I call you to lighten up on yourself and around others a little more. This may be at work, your home, your church, elsewhere, – reaching out in love, through playfulness and attentiveness. Find balance in rest, leisure, and quiet time – not working all the time. I expect purity of thought with helpful intentions and plenty of laughter. You don’t have to be so serious all the time. Let down your guard so that I can work in you, through you, and with you. See a playful God who accompanies you into this day. I created joy for many reasons. Find enjoyment alongside work.
Design for Good
Life: enriched and full. Bask in the Goodness I have surrounded you with. It is neither earned, nor doomed to be withdrawn or leave you empty-handed. The phrase “the Lord gives and the Lord takes away” mistakenly leaves many fearful that I am a mean God who enjoys teasing with dangling carrots, then pulls the rug out from under you. I am nothing like that! Yes, there are, and have been, and will be difficult times, – but your pain, grief, or suffering is never orchestrated by Me to make you learn a cruel lesson. No! My design is always for the GOOD. When bad things happen, I walk with you and find ways to lift you back up. I never abandon you. Nor do I want you to not enjoy an easier life, or one blessed with Good things. I delight in giving you joy and comfort. All I ask is that when you are in a balanced state with surplus, share the wealth. Be generous – of time, talent, and resources. Take notice of when I tug your heartstrings, nudging you to give or extend yourself in some way. Respond to My call. What you have been given is meant for the greater Good of all.
I Remain
I have been calling to you, – singing to you! Sometimes you hear Me so clearly, and other times I am distant background music covered by the noise and busy-ness going on in your head. I don’t fault you for that. It’s human nature to be so preoccupied that you become unaware of Me, and distant from My reassuring voice. Still, I remain. Remain faithful, holy, omnipotent. PRESENT. Loving. Patient. I wait for you, yearning to communicate as One.
Listen for My still, small voice.
You are important to me! Yes, you. I need you in this world to be My hands and feet. I need you to be the voice of tenderness and compassion. I need you to reason with the unreasonable, pardon the unpardonable, and love the unlovable. I also sing to you a love song, greater than any you have ever known or heard. Bring Me your darkest concerns, your ugliest thoughts – allow Me to shed light on them and wash you clean. Let Me bathe you in Grace. Stop striving so hard on your own. You are not alone in this world. Stop, and listen for My song to you. I have never left your side.
