Perfection is a Misguided Aim

You are on the brink of falling into the old trap of beating yourself up inside your head. Today, choose life instead. Choose to love your flaws and imperfections, putting balance back into perspective as you see how much your Goodness outshines the rest. I love and behold you just as you are, with both sides included. Seeking perfection and expecting that of yourself is a misguided aim. Beloved, seek Me and My unconditional adoration of you as My creation. Certainly I want you to do your best, putting kindness, mindfulness, and intentionality behind all your actions, but I don’t want or expect perfection. Mistakes happen. Brush away the dark thoughts and find joy in the with-God life I intend for you.

Take Breaks From Thinking Too Much

Be wary of things that fill your mind with needless worry. Instead, take intentional breaks from thinking too much. Get up, soak in the views I place in your presence. Notice the beauty, the stillness, and color or sounds. Focus on whatever seems to catch your eye, and acknowledge My companionship in whatever you experience. Remind yourself that you are Mine. In momentary breaks like this I will bless you with the peace of mind you crave.

Be Less Impulsive

Stick close to Me in your thoughts. Try running things by Me before making a move just to see how it resonates first. Being a little less impulsive like this may serve you well. I am teaching you the art and benefit of slowing. Easing up your pace doesn’t have to mean being overly cautious or reserved. It just means being more intentional, discerning, and purposeful. Let Me help you become more effective by being more at ease in the process of how your day unfolds.

Build Calmness Into Your Day

You don’t have to be so rushed. There are ways to build calmness into your day, and into your head and heart. Choose to sit still, closing your eyes if you can, and concentrate on slow, deep breathing. Notice the Light pouring into your eyes, even through closed lids. Repel thoughts of tasks waiting to be done, deflecting them out of your mind intentionally as you seek My calming Presence. Soak it in. Repeat these mantras until My truth settles in: All is well. I am yours. Hear My voice.

Take Time to Just BE

When the world gets busy around you, stop to concentrate on being Light-filled. Rest your weary head as I lift the weight of the world off your shoulders, knowing I hold you in the palm of My hand. Allow Me to ease tension as you focus on clearing out your mind. See My Light filling you. These blissful moments with Me are very real, and meant to build and restore you as you take time to just BE.

Be Unhurried

Go today amidst the noise and haste, walking a different pace. Be calm when confronted with any frazzled situations that arise, knowing that I AM. Be unhurried, – mindful and intentional in your decision making. I will put deliberate thoughts for you to consider and to guide you. People seek wisdom and justice. You can be a conduit for both of these as you listen for My still, small voice. I equip you not as an ego-booster but as a leader. I need your ears to hear Me so that your voice can speak truths, reassurances, and clarity. Feed those I put on your path, and watch miraculous work happening all around you.

Down Time

Today, pay attention to the gift of “down time”. I generously carve out pockets of time with fewer demands so that you can refocus and rejuvenate. It’s important to let go of the constant pressure to perform. I call you away from this anxious lifestyle to find better balance. Allow yourself to just “be”. Soak in what you see, hear, or taste in the moment. Stay with Me a while in this palace of peace and mindfulness. Observe how calming this is, and how much better you function when you take time out to be still, – even if just for a few moments each day.

An Unhurried Mindset

Everything is already taken care of by Me, so you can step back and take a deep, calming breath. I know how your mind tends to race with imagining plans and details. Like a stallion at the starting gate, you wrestle with anticipation of taking off at full throttle at everything there is to do ahead of you. What if I told you there is no need to hurry, and I gently opened the gate to a pleasing meadow to amble in instead of a race track to get to the finish on? Approach this day with an unhurried mindset and see how things still get done while you are more at ease with the pace. I am here for you.

Let today be a gentle day. Walk at an easy pace, soaking in whatever you observe in your surroundings. Take note of how My Light shifts and highlights things slowly around you. Learn how to hone in your observation of things like this and find its calming effect. I want to help you reduce all unnecessary stress, and this kind of slowing will help. Breathe in trust, exhale doubt.

I call you to simplicity as a gift filled with My Peace. Find quiet contentment by taking a walk or just enjoying the birds.  Use excited observation with eyes open to My wonder.
