Your Life is Worth Living Well

You are Mine. You are therefore always treasured, needed, and loved!  Let that sink in. How might you go about your day differently if you embraced this truth of belonging and being unconditionally loved? Yes, My beloved, – I want you here on this earth for a reason and a purpose today. I also want you to enjoy the day’s experiences. Look for My Light and take time to smile inwardly at Me when you find it. Your life is worth living well.

Stop Using Guilt & Worry As Motivators

My love for you is not dispensed only by your good works or positive intentions. My love is totally free and ever-available. This is hard to wrap your head around because you are always trying so hard to “do what’s right” and be “good/kind/considerate enough”. Let Me tell you again that you are already “good enough” for Me and I love you completely as you are. Think about how knowing and trusting the truth of these words may change how you act and think today. Stop using guilt and worry as your motivators. Simply be compelled to be lovingly accepting of yourself and others, relaxing into this God-fueled mindset. As you learn to show compassion for yourself this will ease your distress.

Grace Can Fill In the Cracks

I am with you in your brokenness. It is through the chips and cracks that I can seep in and become a part of you. Acknowledge My Presence in you. Stop feeling like you have to strive for some intangible goal of “worthiness”. See My unconditional love and acceptance reflected back to you when you look in the mirror. Learn to be tender with yourself so that you can mend from unpleasant experiences. Trust My love and acceptance, for this is truth. 

Be Open to My Call

Hear Me: I need you. You are Mine. These things go hand-in-hand. Spend time together with Me first every day so you can settle your thoughts and be in tune with My unconditional Love for you. With this as your starting place, you’ll become aware of what I ask of you today, knowing full well that I’m your backbone, protector, and guide. I won’t push you beyond what you are ready for. Be open to My call, which ALWAYS starts from a place of Love. If fear tries to come into play, breathe deeply of My reassurance and tell it you can’t be tricked into not believing all you are capable of today.

Reduce the Power of Troubling Thoughts

I know the stress you have been under, dealing with constantly racing thoughts. Savor a moment with Me. Linger a while longer, resting in My gaze, and see how it changes you. I notice you lowering your eyes, afraid to acknowledge or accept My unconditional love for you, – but just try to hold My gaze again. The best way to heal your spirit is connecting with Me like this, – daily, hourly, in the moment. Whisper to yourself, “I am loved”, repeatedly. This ultimate truth can mend all brokenness and reduce the power of troubling thoughts. Let Me do a gentle takeover in your anxious mind. 

Show Kindness and Respect

You know how to be loving. Some days it takes a lot of energy to muster up “politeness”, though. It can be challenging to show kindness and respect to others who blindly offend. It helps to try and recognize that everyone deserves dignity in My eyes. You do; they do, too. The Good news is that you don’t have to be able to do this all on your own. Ask for My Grace and My Spirit to help you – giving you restraint and/or words when the time comes to interact. Remember, I will be with you, mediating the conversation. Trust that I love you no matter what. 

Why Are You So Down On Yourself?

Why are you so down on yourself? Don’t you know My mighty love for you yet? You are CHERISHED by Me. Pluck your head up and let Me tilt your chin toward My gaze. It is not a look of consternation that I give to you. Behold My utter love – unconditional! – for you. Stop placing so much demand on yourself to perform and accomplish all the time. You need more time standing in front of Me while you learn to recognize the truth. Shed the habits of self-blame and self-criticism. Replace them with a new habit of intentionally receiving My ultimate Grace, Love, and forgiveness. You are my lovable child no matter what.
