You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. You can walk humbly yet confidently, knowing that I am aware of all you do. I deem you worthy and accomplished. Others already see your capability and respect you for it. It’s the deceiver trying to convince you otherwise, but you can recognize the falsehood in that way of thinking and not let undue anxiety take over. I’ve placed you exactly where you are needed today. Because I am with you and there for you, you can be at peace inside. You are loved and valued more than you can see right now. When Inspiration Is Hard To Come By
Some days seem more bleak, mundane, or overwhelming than others. On those days when inspiration is hard to come by, still make time to sit quietly with Me. As you hone in on My Presence, a flicker of Light will come on inside. Something deeper will be awakened, giving a sense or purpose that cannot be seen or named. I work in and around you every single day. I call you to My Mission. Trust in the truth that I need you in this day, and proceed with openness and receptivity to whatever I bring before you. I am with you, always.
Destined for Purposeful Use
All living things have the capacity for Me to work in and through them. Knowing this truth, how can you view your interactions with others differently today? Will you show more interest? Would you be more eager to listen than to expound your own opinions? Will you step into leadership roles, bravely trusting that I’ve equipped you? Go now in peace and enthusiasm to hear and be with Me. Walk with humble confidence, trusting that My Light is in you. You are destined for purposeful use in a world that is hungry for Me.
Dealing With Pain
You’re going through a rough time right now. Dealing with pain for the long haul can feel unbearable at times. Maybe it’s a sign you are trying to figure things out on your own instead of involving Me. I never meant for you to handle difficulties all by yourself. Truthfully, I am just as weighed down by your pain as you are. Turn to Me. Weep with Me. Ask for My assistance. I’m not withholding help from you; I’m actually sending Grace-filled moments to carry you through this hard time. Look today for glimpses of My ultimate loving care and concern, and hold tight to this truth so as to not let discouragement get the best of you.
Lean On The Sturdy Base
I have told you this before, but it bears repeating: lean on Me. When you are weak, confused, worried, or angry, – lean on the sturdiness of My cross that bears all things. Wrap your arms and your mind tightly around its base when the winds of adversity blow at gale-force. I am steady, sturdy, and strong. Nothing can bend or break Me or you as we work together, in bonded union against the hard stuff of life. When you are holding on to this solid truth, knowing I am with and for you and I will never abandon you, you will be protected from the blustery forces trying to tell you otherwise.
Listen To Small Things
Allow Me to calm you. Take these peaceful, quiet moments when you can get them and appreciate how I call you to rest. Sometimes what you need most is to stop and be silent. Listen to small things – clocks ticking, birds calling, washing machine humming, – whatever is going on. Just take notice and appreciate how calming this can be. Then, remind yourself of one of my most important phrases: “Be still, and know that I am God.” I am YOUR God, lovingly present and bringing good out of every circumstance. As you breathe in this truth, exhale doubt and fear.
You Fit In
Do you know how much you are needed in the world? Do you recognize how others look to you for affirmation and encouragement? Do you see how I am at work not just in and for you, but also through you? Therein lies the truth. You are oh-so-valuable. You belong. You fit in and have a place and a purpose like no other. So much of your anxiety stems from doubting this. Ask My Spirit to help wash away the needs and fears so you can interact from a place of peaceful confidence today. Watch as Goodness unfolds naturally when you trust in being My creation with a purpose that suits you perfectly.
Let Me Do the Heavy Lifting
Start with this: be still. Be still and know. Know simplicity. Trust the plain and simple truth that you are LOVED, – truly loved! I am Good, and I am in you. Now, go and love others. Don’t make your day harder than it needs to be. Love yourself, love others. Lead by listening and being kind. Share. This is all good, simple, doable stuff. It doesn’t have to take anything extraordinary. Let Me do the heavy lifting today. Together we will carry out meaningful plans.
Tell Them
Others have their eye on you, – watching with curiosity how you live a with-God life instilled with such confidence and hope. Tell them. Tell them how you know Me and how trustworthy I am. Tell them they can know Me, too. Tell them how I understand their pain like no other can: intimately and compassionately, – and how I heal. Tell them that My Light outshines and overpowers any darkness they are experiencing. My love rules with kindness and forgiveness. Tell them how I listen, and I know every detail of their struggles as well as their joys. Reassure them that I have Good plans in store. I am Your God. I am theirs, too. Speak truth to those who will listen in a hungry world.
Use Your Heart Instead of Words
Allow the draw of our relationship to keep you seated with Me long enough to gain your fill of truth and direction. I ask you to hold your tongue today and practice the art of listening before speaking. Observe those who are hurting and silently, secretly, offer them up to My healing hands. Take the pressure off of yourself trying to come up with the right words. Instead, stay true to the heart behind the tongue. Try this simple technique and see how My Love -Light grows through quietly attentive interactions. Be My Light on the world using your heart instead of your words.
