Reduce the Power of Troubling Thoughts

I know the stress you have been under, dealing with constantly racing thoughts. Savor a moment with Me. Linger a while longer, resting in My gaze, and see how it changes you. I notice you lowering your eyes, afraid to acknowledge or accept My unconditional love for you, – but just try to hold My gaze again. The best way to heal your spirit is connecting with Me like this, – daily, hourly, in the moment. Whisper to yourself, “I am loved”, repeatedly. This ultimate truth can mend all brokenness and reduce the power of troubling thoughts. Let Me do a gentle takeover in your anxious mind. 

Calm

See the calm; picture it in your mind. Feel the calm knocking ever so gently. Open the door and greet it, allowing calmness to come in and fill every space in your heart and home. Be the calm; breathe it in and choose to live with it ruling your pace, your mind, and your actions. It’s not ridiculous to try this and believe in My capacity to bring you My Peace. I make all things possible. With the help of My Grace, you can be peace-filled. I love you and I want this for you.

Stick Close to Me

Stick close to Me. I know your anxious ways, but I would rather have you come to Me for reassurance. All is well. You are set to do the right thing today. My hand is at your back, gently guiding you from place to place. Breathe in confidence, knowing I’ve prepared you for whatever is at hand. You’ve got this; I’ve made you ready.

When Things Get Dicey

The path you are on might get a little rough.  There may be uneven surfaces and elevations that challenge your balance and stamina. I can help when it’s not going smoothly. Lean into Me as your sturdy walking stick.  When things get dicey, ask for My help to watch your step and your words. Respond with caution and use My lead to guide you, steady you, and bear some of the weight.  Don’t forget about the view up ahead! You will get there, and it will be spectacular. I can keep you safe and protect you from a fall, especially if you slow down and allow Me to guide you over the rocky spots.

Pressure Cooker of Stress

Try to not focus so much on the work coming up and all that has to be done. You’ll get there when you need to be there. Today has other things that I want you to notice: tiny movements, splashes of color, unexpected interactions. By enjoying what is occurring in the present moment, you release the steam from that pressure cooker of stress. Look around you, noticing little things that catch your eye and pull you into the present. See My Love calling you to the calm.

Purpose Will Arise Out of Chaos

There’s a lot going on for you. I know about everything on your plate. Take time out to pause and recognize My Presence in each interaction and activity. Mentally pause to nod in My direction, acknowledging My sovereign and intimate involvement within you and those around you. Smile inside, aware of the Goodness in our connection. A sense of purpose will arise out of the busy chaos when you stop to take notice of My powerful and loving Presence. I can calm the waters anywhere you go.

Press On

I recognize your weariness and the emotion that accompanies it. Your anxiety and stress, – sometimes including sadness or irritability, – leave you feeling overwhelmed. Press on. Come to Me with all of it and rest a while by My side. Let the tears fall. Then, after you have been able to share the load with Me, rise up. Notice that I don’t stay seated, pushing you away while saying “Just get going”. No, – I rise with you. We’ll press on together. We can handle anything this way. Let’s take it slowly, – one day, one hour, one moment at a time.

Get Your Drive Back

You will get your “drive” back. Sometimes I call you to slow down, and even to stop. I don’t mean for you to entirely back out of life and all of its commitments.  Balance is the key and pausing to spend time with Me daily is the fuel you need. Fill up on My reassurance and love for you. Take in gallons of encouragement. My ways are gentle and kind, and I want you to treat yourself well with the same intention. Put the brakes on when anxiety and self-hatred try to take the driver’s seat. Order them to get out of the car; they don’t belong there. Let Me take over, steering you in the right direction. My ride is meant to be safe and slow, giving you ample time to take in the scenery. 

De-Clutter

Simplicity is where it’s at. As you de-clutter your surroundings and your head, you make room for you and I to be together more. When thoughts are clouding your mind and decision-making feels super challenging, picture yourself getting rid of them one by one. Take out each worry and each plan, reviewing them before Me and examining what needs to be kept and what can be discarded. Try ridding yourself of at least one thing today, physically or spiritually. Put time with Me back in it’s place. As you make room for My Presence and stay awhile with Me, peace will fill the gaps.

Replenish You with Confidence

There are so many disruptions gathering in mind that take you away from hearing My soothing voice. Stop and take a deep breath. Concentrate on clearing out thoughts as you notice your breathing. Now, let My love-message rise and take over your head-space, filling you with Light and Peace. No matter what else is going on in your life – or how pressing and foreboding it all may feel, – My power can overcome all of it. Allow this momentary reassurance to replenish you with confidence. My love for you is REAL, and all-encompassing; ready to help you with everything.
