Sweep Away the Critical Voice
You don’t have to be as susceptible to the critical voice as you used to be. You are “onto it” by now, – recognizing the deceit and inaccuracy it tries to convince you is true. The only truth is that you already belong to Me, and My love for you is strong, invincible, and unconditional. No trickery of thought can take that away. Push those old self-critical ways out the door and sweep the porch off, removing any remaining dusty negativity or doubt. Re-enter your home with Me protecting you as you live with ease and peaceful confidence intact.

Remember to concentrate only on today, recalling My assurance that you are right where I need you to be for today’s plan and purposes. Be the encourager, giving off your radiant and positive Light that shines from within. Others are drawn to this Light, and I need and want you at your brightest today.

Cozy up to Me for a moment before you begin your day. As you take time with Me, I can remind you that you don’t have to be in charge of everything. That includes letting Me take care of the outcomes. Stop trying to figure everything out ahead of its time. Release your fearful grip on “what might happen” and instead tell yourself, “I am in Good hands”. Allow Me to quiet your soul and soothe you as you breathe in trust and exhale doubt. Your only concern should be lovingly attending to yourself and others as I lead you down today’s path. Allow Me to calm you. Take these peaceful, quiet moments when you can get them and appreciate how I call you to rest. Sometimes what you need most is to stop and be silent. Listen to small things – clocks ticking, birds calling, washing machine humming, – whatever is going on. Just take notice and appreciate how calming this can be. Then, remind yourself of one of my most important phrases: “Be still, and know that I am God.” I am YOUR God, lovingly present and bringing good out of every circumstance. As you breathe in this truth, exhale doubt and fear.
Trust is a big word. It can feel like a lofty, unattainable goal. Try taking it in smaller increments. Tentative steps with a brave “I’ll try it for a minute” is all you need to get started. I want to lead you forward to better spaces of peace and hope. My desire for you to trust Me is a big ask, I know. The beauty of trusting Me is that I am reliable. I’ll ALWAYS be there for you, no matter what choices you make or what consequences you are experiencing. I encourage you to take that step forward with less anxiety. You can trust Me to be loving you unconditionally already.
