You must learn to lean on Me with more trust if you want to be at peace. All of this scrambling in your head, trying to plan for the unknown and figure out answers for things unseen is useless energy spent. I designed you to truly live one day at a time…with Me in charge. I am networking all around you, consistently weaving paths that cross with others as needed. Work on trusting the pace that I set for you today. Take on only one thing at a time, and see how I help you sort out the tasks. Notice when I send help in the form of unplanned delays, or offers to assist you. Lean in to My sturdy frame when the list before you seems unwieldy. I can bear the brunt of it all. Do your part, and know that it is enough in My eyes. Your sanity and your peace of mind are important to Me. Stop trying to fix everything, and stop thinking everything is up to you to handle. Let me be the Repairman, hired by your investment of trust in Me to do what is best.

Concentrate on Today
There is so much ahead in store for you! But I need you to pull in the reins and concentrate only on today. Everything will unfold in due time. I don’t want you to miss a single thing. Focus on your surroundings and interactions in this day only, noticing My intentional encounters put in your path these next 24 hours. Every time your thoughts try to jump to the future, reel them back in to the present. This way, you can find Joy and Peace in the moment. My Presence is here. You don’t need to worry about trying to figure everything out in advance. See how I am taking care of you, meeting your need of daily bread for body and soul. Relax, and receive My love for you today, – and always.
Big Things Can Come
I desire your happiness. You are getting tired, discouraged, and trudged down by life. I need strong, capable, compassionate leaders. I want you in that role! You can trust that this current life experience is giving you just the knowledge and skills you need. Big things can come out of this. I ask more of you, but not more than you can handle. I will give you adequate time with others, and you will find all the balance you need. Trust Me in this process. Try picking up on what you are learning through these trials. You can be at peace and even inspired today just by knowing that you are doing My work! Once you give in to My will out of love, not resisting or resenting your circumstances, you will find the happiness and peace which you have longed for.
On Guard
Wait and watch. I have something to say to you. Be on guard against those whose aim is not for Good. Concentrate on keeping peace and joy dominant in your own heart. Do not be afraid or succumb to anger. I am in charge of that situation; you can leave it to Me. I will protect you in all of it; you simply need to be wary of their ways. Be soft from within, even while you have your guard up,– knowing I am a trustworthy God with Might greater than any darkness. Make eye contact confidently, and allow the day to unfold with Me by your side. I may even surprise you with great Joy despite your surroundings.
No Chance Encounters
My precious, precious child. You don’t have to be so anxious. You have done so many good works already! I am the way, the truth, and the life, – giving breath to you and those around you. Envision this holy breath-exchange as you build up others: family, coworkers, friends, — even strangers you encounter. It’s all part of My design, really. How simple are My plans if and when you choose to see them with MY eyes and accept your role in it all. No chance encounters are occurring. I gaze upon you lovingly as you interact and do My work. I am delighted when you take comfort in this. Look for Me, and you will find Me in your midst.
Focus
I will give you the energy and the calmness you need. Your job will be to inspire others. You have the gift of encouragement; let that be your focus for now. Start by encouraging yourself! Acknowledge your own talents and giftedness. Be grateful for how I have designed and equipped you. Look for ways to focus your energy and passion. See how there is a capacity to change and adapt. Don’t give in to fear. Study what I place in your head to dream about. Let this become your new focus. Turn everything else over to Me.
Already Pleased
How I long for you to stop being so preoccupied with making a good impression. I want to say “Stop! Hear Me!” Hear Me calling and realize I am already with you, already holding you…already pleased with you. You are My brave soldier, My compassionate healer, My present one, — tending My sheep so well. I am truly happy with you! Let your confidence rest in that, and know that no task is insurmountable. No issue is too great for you to handle now. My ways, My plans have no boundaries and miracles are continuing to occur even in your new place. Your goodness is known; stop questioning that. Remember how pleased I am with you, and walk into the day with head held high, knowing your goodness is intact.
Talk to Me
Asking for Me to talk to you is not weird, or ‘just magical thinking’. I am your Creator, and it’s natural and good to communicate with me often and fluidly. I want words and thoughts to flow easily and genuinely between us. My love for you is REAL. Our connection is true and valid. Prayer is not a fake thing. Try it again, if you haven’t done it in a while. Stop the worldly pace long enough to be still, and know that I am God. I want to calm your anxious thoughts, and soothe your worried mind. I want to listen and help soften your edges. I know the big picture of your life. Bring your thoughts to Me, – every one of them. I am here! Learn to recognize that I am listening, always. Listen for My voice, and learn to recognize My love and tenderness for you. Seek Me with all your heart, and find Me already with you. You don’t have to face the world alone. Talk to Me about it. Listen, and watch for evidence of My reassuring response to you. I am a trustworthy confidant.
I’ve Got This
You don’t need to be so afraid. I’ve got this. The day ahead may have unanticipated pressures, but I already know about them and how, together, we will resolve them. Move with Me, deliberately and intentionally aware of My companionship and might. With confidence, speak holy words of wisdom and thoughtfulness around others. When things come up and stressful tension starts to rise, pause, close your eyes, and envision My loving face reminding you, “I’ve got this.” I will help you figure out answers, responses, and next steps. Before you know it, the day will come to a close. All which needs to be addressed or accomplished will have been taken care of for this day by My Grace, and the rest is meant for another day. Pause often. You need Me, and you will find Me already in your midst.
God Can Take It
Posture yourself in such a way that you can remove distractions. Physically place your feet on the floor, and imagine them embedded in My word. If anything is uncomfortable, simply take note and acknowledge it, picturing Me receiving it. Physical discomforts, emotional distress, thoughts, concerns, worries…pile it on Me. I can take it, – all of it. Petty annoyances, too. It is these things that cloud your mind and weigh down your shoulders. I want to help lift the weight of the world off of you. I want your wellness, your balance; I need your right-focus. As you hand these items to Me, clear your mind to recognize My guidance. Breathe. Really, – breathe deeply and find calmness settling in. No matter what the day has in store, I am ready for you, and I am readying you for it, as well. Steady yourself this way as I equip you to deal with whatever comes your way.
