You are faithful and talented, – so talented!, – but you are only one person. Serve for Me and for My Good. My Good is when you touch the lives of others, – sometimes in a passing hello, other times in more attentive conversations or complicated activities. My Good abounds everywhere! Take a portion of it in today because I give My Good for you, too. I’m not a demanding God who only asks you to serve, serve, serve. Today you can receive, too. In fact, any day you can receive; this isn’t selfish. Insulate yourself against worry by taking time with Me daily and absorbing My gifts to you in the form of rest, quiet time, and help from others. I do not ask for your weariness. Fill your own well by first spending time with Me, receiving My Joy. Let it surprise you with how easy and satisfying it is to find once you recognize My Presence.

You Belong
You belong. So often you question this, – filled with worry that you do not fit in or that you will always be an outsider. This is simply not true! I designed you with supreme value. Your worth cannot be measured by others reactions to you. I still call you to connect and be involved. Work on trusting that you are an essential part of every group or situation you encounter today. You belong exactly where I’ve placed you, and you are meant to be with those you interact with. Feel safe knowing My love for you never fails. Don’t judge yourself or others with such harshness. Relax and be yourself. It’s OK! I’m right there with you, always.
Pull Back the Covers of Worry
You are more eager than you may realize. I know your habits of worrying, but I also see this wall of fretting about everything. Beyond that wall is My eager, playful, enthusiastic child – the one who wants to experience, explore, and find awe. Anxiety tries to invade and take over, pulling a shroud of dread over the start to your day. Push off that cover intentionally. Look for My face of reassurance and encouragement. We have things to do, places to go, people to see, – TOGETHER. Ask Me for help to pull back the covers of worry so that you can start your day with delight. I am a trustworthy God, and I designed you for eagerness, not dismay.
A Slower Pace
Move with a steady pace today. Try not to rush. Hurried living causes undue stress and anxiety, but I call you to be calm. Let your pace reveal your trust in Me. My Presence isn’t going anywhere! I never leave your side. When you feel pressured to “hurry up!”, intentionally pause and acknowledge My sovereign power over your life- with awareness that I love you and have good plans in store. Although you may not see or recognize these plans yet, they are in motion. Pause, breathe, and calm yourself as I wash Grace over your existence like a soothing balm. A slower pace contributes to a peaceful mind.
I’ll Help You Focus
I am near…always by your side. Close your eyes and take a big breath to calm down. Listen for My reassurance and know you are loved. You are perfect in My eyes, even with the imperfections and quirks I designed in you. You have no idea the way others are drawn to you and are eager to listen to what you have to say. Don’t silence your voice in misguided shyness when I call you to speak. Listen well, also, in your day ahead. Breathe again, asking for My help to clear your head so you can interpret what is going on around you. I’ll help you focus on next steps, one task and one conversation at a time. Believe in the importance of your work at hand. Trust that nothing is too trivial to be part of My plan. Know that you are an intentional part of My design.
Comfort
You can find comfort in Me. Let Me help stop the racing thoughts of details to finalize, or of worries about what impression you made. I will teach you to encourage yourself. Turn inward for a change. Take comfort and strength deep within as provided by Me to help you find the truth: I am your God and I am right here! I am in charge, leading you to a very important place. You have what it takes, and I will always equip you, remaining housed within your Spirit. Be comforted, comforting, and comfortable as you rest in the folds of My cloth.
My Instrument
Taking one day, one hour, one project at a time will help you keep calm. I have the design, and you are My instrument. I will play you, beautifully, in accordance with My rhythm. You can rest easily knowing I am in charge, not you. You don’t have to take things personally. Calm yourself through being one with Me, weaving in and around others spreading Joy and sensitivity. Make real connections. Know you are Good, and exactly where I need you to be. My design is at work, intricately, piece by piece. I do this because I love you! ALL of you: your needs as well as your talents. Take My Right Hand; – I will not let you fall.
Slow Down
Your body is calling you to slow down, – to take it easy on yourself. Slowing your pace allows you to study Me and My action in your life, and in the lives of those around you. See it more clearly, more deliberately. Focus. Fix your eyes on each task with heightened awareness of My Presence. Take note of Me, and acknowledge My sovereign involvement in, through, and over your life. Give thanks for all of this, and feel your heart swell with love and joy at our inter-connectedness. We are one, even in the most mundane, routine, or repetitive tasks. Slow your pace, and unite with Me.
It Doesn’t All Rest On You
You have said yes to all I have asked. I am so pleased with your heart and your good intentions. I am laying everything out for you: the people to connect to and interact with, the vision for how things can be. Continue to answer My call with willingness. Remember, though, it doesn’t all rest on you. Others will see your desire to serve, and they will want to jump on board. Look to the East, from where your help will come. I am the Shepherd, in charge of the flock, so you can stop fretting. I will provide all you need.
Possible
My Light is absolutely dazzling all around you. No matter how dark the world may seem, or how monumental or oppressive the tasks before you may feel or appear, My ways are able to overcome all challenges. Like fresh, new-fallen snow lit by winter sunlight outside, it is almost too bright and blinding for you to take in fully. You can get a glimpse of it, though! Be amazed by My brilliant love and power in your life. Absorb this word: POSSIBLE. All things are possible with Me. Let My Light remind you that you are not alone, and you are able to bear much when we work together in harmony. I am bigger than any challenge or obstacle you face. Turn your face to the Light, and absorb My strength intended to help you today.
