You know that I am with you. How blessed you are to “get that” already. Now, I call you to next steps in your faith development: trusting Me daily. Lean back into Me as the One who knows you intimately. Confront your self-doubt and slay it when it tries to take over. I love you just as you are. I have control over every aspect in My awesome design. This includes the activities of today as well as future plans. Trust that you are right where you need to be, – ready and capable for everything you encounter. I need you right where you are. Calm your soul with this truth.

Take Brave Steps
I have brought you through much already. Look back and realize the ways I heal and mend. Acknowledge My sovereign ways over your life, reminding yourself that I never intend to inflict harm. Let Me take you to next steps and places you haven’t even dreamt of. When you open yourself to My grand possibilities, trusting that I am with you, you can take brave steps again. I won’t let you down. You don’t have to let yourself down, either. Let Me reveal the Good life to you. You can be whole again! There is so much in store for you. Believe this!
Be Open to Change
Go ahead -imagine big things! Don’t forget to include Me in that vision, walking side by side with you and lighting the path with My glory. I create big things and have so much intended for you. Do you believe this? You must alter old habits of worry and leave anxiety in the past. The better you get at releasing your worries, concerns, and hurts to Me, the calmer and more receptive you will be to the Good I have prepared. Turn your whole life over to Me, allowing Me to guide the plan as I see fit. Be open to change, trusting Me to be lovingly in charge of it all.
Hurt and Forgiveness
People have hurt you. I know, and I ache for both sides. My design longs for unity, but you can only be in charge of yourself. Examine your ways, scrutinizing against any spitefulness and rooting for kindness to take its place. Forgiveness and love are at the heart of the lifestyle I choose for you. You can be bold in calling out the truth of bad behavior, but I caution you on how to do this. Use gentleness and loving intention, aiming for reconciliation. If the other side is not yet ready for this, leave it in My capable hands. You don’t have to address any of this on your own. Leave your hurt with Me. It is time to be released from its grip on your heart so that Peace can be with you, instead.
Get Ready for More
Let yourself embrace a broader view. You can walk into this new year and into any situation with confidence and curiosity once you accept the fact that I’ve got this, and I have so much more in store. My plans for you are BIG. Don’t let that thought intimidate you. You are small enough to be Mine, yet great enough to handle whatever is coming in tandem with Me and My purpose. Don’t kid yourself into expecting or desiring less. Get ready for more, anticipating that important and life-giving changes are ahead. My plans for you are GOOD.
Take a Day of Rest
It’s so important that you take a day of rest. Your world bombards you with a constant stream of electronics and pressures, all vying for your attention. I call you to put down your phone and quiet your busy mind. Use all of your senses taking in this day and moment. See color, feel temperature and movement, take time to truly taste each bite. Touch the things and people I place before you today with eye-opening wonder. See how enlivened you become when you use a day of rest like this to be rejuvenated and restored.
Do Something Small
Remain obedient to the call I place on your heart. Listen for Me daily as I gently guide you with each small task. You don’t have to see the full picture yet. It’s okay to do something small today. Each little piece adds up over time, and no act of kindness or intentional task completed in My name goes unnoticed by Me. Do these things in a Spirit of Love and willingness. Your servant heart is glorious to behold and gives My hope to others.
You Are Enough
You are enough (even more than!). Get it into your head, and relax in this truth. Be comfortable in your own skin, because I am an amazing God and you are My amazing child. I am so proud of who you are: My creation, – oh-so-loved. Walk peaceably in this day, knowing you can have inner confidence based on My Light within you. Nothing has to ruffle your feathers. Approach each situation with a knowing and loving eye when you use My eyes that see and My ears that hear. Spread My love and joy to the world.
Season of Peace
This is the season of Peace. My way is meant to be gentle, kind, and considerate. So much energy is wasted on imagined conversations or encounters with others, anxiously preparing responses in advance. Let Me handle that for you. You don’t have to be on the defensive with Me in your thoughts. Trust Me to be present in all your interactions with others, allowing My calmness to supersede all else. You can brush off the remains of anger and hurt others caused you or may try to push onto you, knowing it isn’t yours to fix. Show compassion, and leave the rest up to Me to address.
Enough to Get By
You are content and full. Sit with that image, acknowledging that I supply for all your needs…no more and no less than what is needed. Occasionally I send over-abundance. Perhaps you feel the opposite is true, worrying that you won’t have or be enough to get by. Fear is lying when it tells you that. I will never, – I repeat! – NEVER abandon or forsake you, – especially in your time of need. Take stock in My adequate provision for the next 24 hours. You can and will get by. I’ll supply everything that’s needed, one day at a time.
