Linger with Me for a while. Don’t rush off into your day without our time together because you need My love and encouragement to help settle down your anxious heart. All of your worries calm down when you stop long enough to realize I am your God. I am taking care of all your needs. There’s not a single thing I won’t address with and for you. When mini-panics start to arise, hand the details over to Me. Remember I’ve placed you wherever you are today for a purpose and a plan. Muster up confidence knowing I need you right where you are. I’m supplying everything that is essential to get things accomplished lovingly and thoroughly.

Unnecessary Guilt
Getting rid of unnecessary guilt is key to finding peace. Stop thinking you are so responsible for everything. You can’t control the outcomes of every situation, nor do I expect that from you. Work on recognizing when you are taking unnecessary blame on yourself. Sometimes all your effort still produces disappointing results. You can’t fix others emotions. Show that you care through your love, but release the desire to control outcomes. Hand that part over to Me because I know what I’m doing. Be kinder to yourself. I recognize your good intentions, and I love you.
Pull You Back Into Light
All of that worry and self-criticism is not of My creation nor is it My design for you. I will be with you even through tears being shed. This work to address and overcome anxiety is hard, but oh-so-worth it. As you recognize habits of worry and patterns of critical thought, I can help you sort things out. I am a restorative God. Push out from underneath those dark clouds by grabbing My hand so that I can pull you back into the Light. Make room for My soothing, reassuring words in your head. You are good, valued and lovable. You are Mine!
Embracing the Best
It doesn’t have to be so hard. So many of the things you picture in your head or worry about never come true. Rather than always bracing for the worst, try embracing the best today. Picture things turning out well, and live into this. Know that as a loving God I desire good things for you. They are already on the way! Life with Me, daily, can bring unimaginable and far-reaching joy.
Push the Pause Button
Listen to Me. I know life is busy and full of demands. I recognize how full of details your head gets and the tendency to feel panicked about getting it all done. Push the pause button, remembering that I am your sovereign God. I’ll help you muster up the energy and guide you through, one task at a time. Try not to look at piles but instead, examine pieces one by one. Together we will muddle through and you will see how trustworthy My way is. You are never in this alone. I will also send physical help as needed. Trust Me to supply the need while you step back and receive assistance. I will be with you no matter what.
I Know Your Storms
You are burdened by many hard things, but mostly your own torrent of thoughts. I can calm the wind hitting your boat in this hurricane of worry, but it requires great faith and trust on your part. First, ask Me to help – and I don’t mean with a frenzied, frantic cry for “Help!” Rather, use a calm, determined request that lets Me know you trust Me to respond in your best interest. Then, step back and get out of the way while I work on bailing the water. You don’t need to keep reaching back in to grab the bucket as if I’m not doing it effectively or quick enough. Step into this day even with water sloshing at your feet, knowing I will not let you sink. Then laugh with Me about the mess. I know your storms; they come and go. We’ve been through this before. Trust Me again. I won’t abandon ship.
Don’t Agonize Over Decisions
Walk with Me. Picture Me helping you gain perspective, calmness, and health. I pay attention to you all day; can you spare some time with Me? It is here that you will find peace. I don’t want you agonizing over every decision. Make choices, then leave the outcomes with Me without re-hashing them or mulling them over and over. This small change of habit will bring great reward with remarkable steps toward a more peaceful life. Your journey is meant to be less distracted and more open to creativity, watching life unfold before you rather than cluttering your mind with endless to-do lists and worry over choices made or things of the past. One day at a time, one step at a time, together.
Picture Me Arranging the Details
I sustain life. Those who believe in Me ‘get this’. I restore a sense of what is right and Good, bringing about justice in due time. To be sustained, you must turn to Me daily – feeding your mind with My words and releasing your problems and anxiety into My hands. I can’t guide you fully if you aren’t trusting Me enough to let Me take over the problem-solving. This is simpler than you are making it by gripping so tightly to the wheel all by yourself. Ask for My help, and mentally hand over the situations and concerns that worry or scare you. Picture Me arranging the details as you focus on whatever I place before you instead. When I am back in charge of your life, you can rest easy.
I Shape Your Words
You are already of great value to the people you will encounter this week. Walk with soft confidence, inwardly reassured of your worth. They will be eager to hear what you have to say because I shape your words, giving voice to your experience in ways that will be heard. Take note of the fact that I am both on the speaking and the receiving end. I am also in all who are present. There is no more need to panic. Trust that I am there to pick up the broken pieces. I have already begun the necessary work to mend your wounded heart. Together let’s make the heart unite with the soul.
Trust Me in Little Increments
Picture Me standing right in front of you, – eye to eye. I want to stop you in your tracks until you firmly see Me looking with all-knowing eyes. Don’t try to dart away from My gaze. I am worried about you because I see and hear your distress. O, My lamb, – if only I could show you all the Goodness ahead, – but I cannot. A vision of that magnitude of change would overwhelm you if it came all at once. You must trust Me in little increments of time. Let today unfold in tiny moments without worry over what has passed or what is yet to come. Let Me spare you the details as you take My hand in child-like trust.
