It’s OK to be Strong

Offer Grace to others when they annoy or offend you. Many are just reacting out of their own insecurities. You can stop fretting about how you come across. You are YOU: bold, and with sound opinions. It’s OK to be strong. People may also despise you because of your confidence, but again, that’s likely because of their own insecurity. You don’t have to be subdued just to make others more comfortable.  Don’t stop being you or thinking you have to stifle your voice. Be the person I made you to be. When I call you to speak, speak boldly. When I nudge you to listen, listen attentively. As you practice self-acceptance, you also become more accepting of others. Ask for pardon when you offend or when you’ve insisted on being “right” instead of being open to hearing other’s point of view. Acknowledge differences, offering dignity and respect at your core. That’s how My love and purpose is manifested in the world.

Your Life is Not a Performance

Your Life doesn’t have to be a “performance”. Share your truths, your knowledge, and your authentic self and you won’t need to worry about what impression you are making. I’ll take care of that part. Your words and approach have impact and meaning by My design. Therefore, your efforts reach much farther than you can see. Trust Me to handle the outcomes while you concentrate on being you. That is always enough.

Your Uniqueness Reaches Others

I wish you would stop being so critical of yourself. I created you just as you are so that your uniqueness reaches others. I do My best work in and through you when you stop judging yourself internally and follow your God-given instincts. Speak when you feel urged to; share when I nudge you; listen with ears that ear; notice and attend to others with eyes that see. You are good at all of this because of how I made you and because of your faith and trust in how I work within you. I will bless your encounters with others when you intentionally choose to trust your well-being.

Freed and Transparent

I call you to walk boldly, not sheepishly. I encourage you to write, speak and be observed by others as you walk uprightly. Using all of your wit, humility, and confidence interwoven is My design for you. Be freed from the chaos and shackles of constant self-remorse, – always replaying conversations in your head and worrying about how you were perceived. I will take care of those perceptions; you just concentrate on being transparent. You no longer have to hide your thoughts and emotions. Give voice to the things you haven’t yet been able to name or say out loud. There is great purpose in using this gift at places and times of My design.
