When You Berate Yourself

You are My beautiful creation. I pride Myself for who you are and ‘how you turned out’. It pains me whenever you try to be something other than yourself, or when you berate yourself. I made you with an engaging personality. It’s not healthy to constantly second-guess your words and actions that come instinctively out of you. Don’t fear being yourself, or even being the center of attention at times. I set up opportunities for you to be there so that My light can shine brightly through you. I in you, you in Me. Your task is to learn to allow for this to be so and walk in this truth.

How to Spend Your Time

Bask in the intimacy of our relationship today. Take joy and comfort in knowing I see you as you sleep, arise, and in your every move. Talk with Me often in your head, acknowledging things you notice, questions you face, and decisions you must make. I can help you choose how to spend your time and what to focus on wisely. Be inspired to do more knowing I place interests, goals, and perspective all as part of My great plan for you. Nothing you do or say goes unnoticed by Me. I don’t criticize your every move, either. I want you to see Me as your great encourager, motioning you to places, tasks, and conversations full of Goodness and meaning. I am powerfully present in it all. Know that you are loved first, then walk into your day engulfed in the grace of this truth.

Holy Things Occur

As you open yourself to My guidance, holy things occur. Lives are touched by your compassion. Your sensitivity allows you to connect to others with an innate sense of trustworthiness, which gives them the message it is safe to open up. Speak truth, show kindness, and act lovingly. All of this is embedded in Grace. Holy touch, holy eyes that see and ears that hear. Allow holiness to take over your life daily, hourly, and one task at a time. This doesn’t have to be a daunting or unreachable request. My message is simple: you are already holy in My likeness as you practice being present in these ways to others.

Be Unhurried

Go today amidst the noise and haste, walking a different pace. Be calm when confronted with any frazzled situations that arise, knowing that I AM. Be unhurried, – mindful and intentional in your decision making. I will put deliberate thoughts for you to consider and to guide you. People seek wisdom and justice. You can be a conduit for both of these as you listen for My still, small voice. I equip you not as an ego-booster but as a leader. I need your ears to hear Me so that your voice can speak truths, reassurances, and clarity. Feed those I put on your path, and watch miraculous work happening all around you.

Hopeful Plans For You

Whenever a new year arises, people tend to reflect on where they’ve been and possibilities for where they are going. Be cautious about getting caught up in old ruts where your tires spin in the mud of regret. Also watch out for fear-based projections about what is around the corner,  anticipating that things won’t turn out as you would like or will be too hard to manage. Neither of these things are true. I am a loving God with hopeful plans in store for you. I’ll carry you through hard times and open doors for Good things to arrive in your life and in the lives of those you care about. Choose to concentrate on living fully present in today, and hand Me your past and future. This is how you build new habits of peace of mind.

Worrying About Other’s Opinions

Keep on guard today for times when you are worrying about other’s opinions of you. This is the biggest trip hazard out there, and I don’t want you to fall prey to the devious one’s taunting messages that you are somehow falling short or should be embarrassed. The opposite is My truth, for you are lovely and worthy of attention. You are Good and making a helpful impact in the world. You are My beloved! And you are Mine. You can trust that what you have to say and contribute will be meaningful, and you are right where I need you to be today. Show them the love I placed in your heart, and dazzle the world with My Light inside of you.

Stop With All the Self-Doubt

You are good enough and likeable. You ARE. Stop with all the self-doubt. Yell at the ridiculing voice inside your head trying to make you question your likeability. Don’t succumb to believing the lies of the deceiver. Laugh at him, and scoff at his attempts to make you believe such polar opposites to My truth about you. The truth is, you are a loving and positive light in the world, and others are drawn to you because of how I live in your heart. Nothing can overpower the brightness in your soul so go live mightily and joyfully basking in the truth about you today.

Present and Attentive to You

When you are sad or anxious, I am fully present. I don’t wait for you to be struggling in order to come near, though. The truth is, I am always fully present and attentive to you. That may be hard to wrap your head around when you are caught up in worries or stress. Be gentler on yourself. I don’t mind attending to your needs. Take a break from sadness, worry, and fear, and rest in My safe arms for a while. Let Me nurture you back to confidence. Everything will work its way out in due time.

Being Around Others

Being around others can be challenging. You long for belonging and acceptance, but interactions with others can be fickle and unpredictable. I am your constant Companion, ever-present and adoring of you. Let this loving truth overpower any fear of being rejected, excluded, or misunderstood. Look for My kindness to appear in conversations and exchanged glances or smiles. Enter these spaces confidently, trusting My Presence in and around you. I will meet you and be with you wherever you go.

Don’t Give In to Shyness

Stay true to yourself, the way I designed you. Open up without fearing vulnerability, because that is what draws others closer to you. I have Good plans in store to bring people into your life in meaningful and supportive ways. You don’t have to give in to shyness. Connect, reach out, and find that good people are there for you, whom I sent for your well-being. I work like that, caring for you in marvelous ways.
