Look up into the expansiveness of the sky and realize how big I am and how bold the possibilities are. Even though there are times when you feel smothered under a heavy wool blanket or boxed into a corner, there is always a way out. My Way is true and Good, allowing for movement and airspace. Know that I am trudging alongside you. Now is the time to embrace hope, recognizing the possibility of a better time. Someday you’ll look back on this and realize we made it through together. Hope in Me and trust in all that I can do.

Show Love Through Your Face
Show love through your face and you can’t go wrong. Demonstrate genuine interest in others. Try to set aside your own agendas, trusting Me to guide both the path and the outcomes today. You’ll move easier this way, anticipating that we’ll meet in every encounter. Operating with this mindset, you won’t have to be so scared of people. Remember, “If God is for us, who can be against?” I have led you to each situation today. You can choose to trust My design and bank on the idea that it’s meant for Good purposes. You don’t have to see the full picture to know I’ve got it covered. Just be yourself, – transparent and personable, – the way I created you.
Move On
Learn the art of moving on. I’ve watched you mulling things over to the point of exhaustion, thinking “If only I had done this or that”. These past hurts, injustices, and annoyances bubble to the surface and distract you from the beauty of the present. Instead of ruminating about past conversations and experiences, try releasing them to My attentive care. Take what has been troubling you and leave that baggage on My holy doorstep. Breathe in the peace I offer you in exchange. I can take care of it. Move on as an act of trust, freed from that burdened load. Behold! I am doing something new.
Stop Paddling
I am a God you can trust. I am the greatest listener, encourager, and healer. Let Me be your rock today, – a solid, sturdy place to stand, sit or rest upon as you see fit for your needs. I provide firm support that is unwavering against waves or stormy weather. You can dock your boat firmly to Me. It’s important to stop paddling now and then and step out of the water. Come to Me for focus and guidance.
High Bar of Expectation
Try not to set yourself up for “failure”. Too often you measure your value by how consistently pleasant, productive, happy, energetic, etc., you are. If you get caught by unplanned demands that cause irritation or setbacks, you become frustrated and irrationally believe you’ll be “falling short”. This high bar of expectation can become damaging to you. Living My way requires flexibility with trust. Know that all things can be accomplished in due time if they are taken on as part of My purpose and My plan. Sometimes it’s in the unplanned events that I am most able to do Good works.
Get Going
Get up. Get going! We have things to do together today! Be ignited and excited by our partnership in the tasks ahead of you. Think of Me as your business partner – equally invested and fully “in” for the long-haul. Don’t get caught up in calculating the return on that investment or worrying about productivity. Take on the work at hand as if it’s mission work: done with love and passion without thinking of the payoff. Whether in big or small tasks, lay it all down at the end of the day, trusting that it’s enough. That’s all I ask of you.
Trust That I’m Here
Even though sometimes life is hard or filled with difficult emotions, I am showing up. I am with you. You might feel like glimpses of Me are only fleeting, but that doesn’t negate My constant Presence. The trick is learning to recognize Me in occasional encounters but also still trust that I’m here even when you don’t feel or sense My nearness. In choosing to trust, you may find that you actually start recognizing Me more often. Check it out. I’m with you, – ALWAYS. Loving, supporting, and guiding you, – and attending to your every need.
Grateful Grin
Practice the art of peaceful smiling. Just pause, look around, and put forth a grateful grin toward all you see in the moment, knowing that you and I are meeting right here, right now. Like our own little secret, you can take pleasure in this connection. Trust that I am here, bestowing Goodness upon you. I am working everything out for your future so you don’t have to worry or think about that right now. Just smile and say, “You’ve got this, God, – and I’ve got you, so all is well”. Thank Me as I smile upon you, as well.
Let Life Unfold
Come to Me, oh My anxious one. Relax that jaw that clenches so tightly as your mind tries to keep up with your agendas. In My plan, things don’t have to be so hurried. Yes, there will be pressing things to attend to, but you can always approach them with slow confidence,- knowing that I am in charge and trusting My outcomes. You cannot plan for everything in life, so why don’t you stop trying so hard to make things turn out as you picture or imagine? For today, let life unfold and try just observing and participating without attempting to be on top of it all. Let Me be the Master of your time and see how calming this can be.
Satisfaction Even in the Undone
Wait in quiet trust. I am a generous God with plans to give you all you need and even more in abundance. What is of most value is our time together. Life doesn’t always have to be full of “wow” experiences to be satisfying and joyful. Sometimes it is best lived in stillness and quiet. You can stop pushing so hard. Joy doesn’t necessarily accompany accomplishment. Learn to be in awe even in the undone, anticipating Goodness to come. You can also appreciate Goodness in the here and now.
