Peace and Joy Can Go Together

I am working things out for you, kneading out the sore spots. Trust Me, and look for ways I send others to help. Being “contemplative” does not have to mean being sorrowful all the time. Peace and joy can go together, and are actually a very nice pairing available even when you’ve been hurting. Practice detaching from your surroundings and moving into a peaceful and observant mode, allowing the stream of interaction and movement to flow in whatever direction I guide. You will remain intact during the process, I assure you.

Let Me Be Your Comforter

I see the tears that sting your eyes in private. It’s okay to cry in front of Me. It would be unreasonable to expect your life to be devoid of hurt or sorrow because real pain happens. When tears stem from grief or worry, let Me help with that. I will sit with you as long as you need until your breathing slows and your guard lets down. Let Me be your protector, comforter, and guide. You’ll never have to face anything alone. Lean into My loving Presence and know with confidence that I’ll help get you through.

Don’t Numb Out

You don’t have to numb out with things that aren’t good for you today. Come to Me with your pain or sorrow. Run into My arms of safety and comfort, seeking solace instead of just a diversion from the things that hurt or overwhelm you. Choose food, drinks, and activities that are healthy for you, and pat yourself on the back for electing good self-care. I can help you be in control of those choices. Numbing out makes you stay stuck, and I want to free you. Ask Me to help and I’ll be there instantaneously, giving Grace and strength to recover from old habits.

Kind Eyes

I am near. Upholding you, drawing out the tears, smoothing your brow. Take solace in Me. In times of trouble, of which there are and will be many, know that I am God – who bears all things and works things out for Good in the end. You won’t always see those results. I have kind eyes; look to them and release your sorrow and worries to Me. Here you will find comfort and reassurance to get you through the day.
