Cut Yourself Some Slack

You have a hard time giving yourself permission to take a break. Even when the break involves communication with Me, you still feel the urge to rush off and ‘be productive’ elsewhere. Cut yourself some slack. Get in tune with the essential nature of finding quiet time with Me. I can make your movement so much more efficient and effortless, but your striving must be for building My kingdom. Any other purpose will make you spin your wheels and burn out your engine. Be ignited for My plans, fueled by quiet thought and prayer time daily. Giving yourself room and permission to pause doesn’t make you a ‘slacker’. It’s essential to become grounded with Me first and foremost.

Take Off the Pressure to Perform

I know how you struggle with finding or maintaining a peaceful state of mind. It feels like there is so much to do and so little time some days. I want you to take off the pressure to perform. The best way to manage that is to intentionally pause and linger in moments. Stop long enough to whisper My name and recognize My calming Presence. Listen for small sounds and focus on the gentle Light I place around you. In this quiet, hushed place you can be refreshed- reminded that you never go it alone. I am with you, equipping you and taking care of the outcomes. You will have all you need.

Use Your Genuine Compassion

I call you to do great works. My definition of “great” is different than the world’s, – sometimes done with small deeds in quiet simplicity. Be yourself as I designed you, using your genuine compassion for the Good of others. There is no need to put on airs or present yourself in distorted efforts to achieve status. You are already prominent in My eyes, and only My judgement matters. I equip all My children differently, providing an exquisite balance of needs and talents perfectly matched when you listen to My call and guidance. You cannot measure or manage another person’s gifts, but you can be responsible for your own and lead by example. Let kindness rule with forgiveness and compassion today. Many blessings occur and unfold in abundance with this practice.

Find My Lively Presence

Hush your mind. Know that I am alive in you and not a distant thought or far-off friend. I actively inhabit your body and soul. I won’t arrange your day so that you will come meet with Me. No, – your free will is in charge of that and your time is yours to choose how you spend it. I leap joyfully when you consciously and conscientiously choose to be present to Me, listening to My voice. Turn to Me – hourly, minute by minute, – and find My lively Presence already within. You can be satisfied with Me alone; come and find your fill.

Change Habits of Over-Commitment

You don’t have to be “on” all the time. Stepping back and taking time to unplug is equally as important as constantly striving to do and be your best self. You have become a harsh taskmaster over the years. I want you to examine and change habits of over-commitment or feelings of hyper-responsibility. Remember, I’m the One in charge. I call you to add rest breaks into your schedule. Find balance by committing quiet time with Me daily. Release your need to control everything, trusting Me with the outcomes instead. I don’t want you weighed down by over-responsibility. Come to Me, all you who labor and are weary; find rest in Me.

What Hope Looks Like

Come to Me in the quiet of the morning and be fed small bites of comfort. I am tenderly taking care of you, healing your hurts and wounds. Don’t get stuck in a pity party for yourself. That doesn’t help, and it fogs up the window showing how clearly I am working in your life. Instead, go to the window and look out. Find the dawn again, with hope on the horizon because I am with you. I sustain; I heal. I need you to demonstrate what hope looks like to others. Hope assures you that I will bring Good out of every circumstance and trial.

Don’t Give In to Anxious Habits

Old presumptions and misguided worries do not have to drive you anymore. Don’t give in to those anxious habits, imagining things going wrong or assuming you are being judged critically. Everything is not going to fall apart. Instead, try cutting back on all the texting and social media that bombard you with messages. Live in a quieter space where you can regain awareness of Me again. You will find contentment and inner peace this way, derived from My guidance and Light within.

The Great Healer

I am the Great Healer touching every wound and soreness. You are dealing with illness and stress; parts of your body are struggling. Discomfort and worry are vying for time in your head. Sit still. Breathe. Really, – breathe deep and relax, clearing your mind out and being present in front of Me. I am watching over you. Whatever needs to be revealed will be shown in due time. Worrying about it won’t help; trusting Me will! I attend to all things – even your uncomfortable symptoms. Picture Me as physician, listening and attending to your description of whatever concerns you. Do what you can to be healthy and well, and let Me take care of the rest. 

Make Room for the Quiet

There is so much chatter around you: noise from electronics, social media, and people in your life. It is essential to your well-being to make room for the quiet. Only then can you find My help and perspective. Seek Me above all else. I will meet you in the quiet spaces, reassuring you of My great Love for you and My concern for your heart. Remove distraction as best as you can so that I can restore your peace of mind. I don’t want you cluttered or weighed down by needless noise and worries. Come to Me. I am with you and I love you. 

Be My Calming Presence

You can still be positive even when others around you are irritable. Walk with peaceful steps in their presence, allowing them their feelings without judgement. try not to label feelings as “good” or “bad”. Allow My Peace to descend on you, and watch it spread to those around you. Be My calming Presence with My Love-Light emanating in and through you, even without words to say. Leave the rest up to Me to fix.
