I need your help today, even if it’s hard or you make a mistake or others are insensitive in the process. Make it about Me, and I will bless that. I ask you to spread joy, leading with kindness, compassion, and dedication. By heading into the day willingly, – even if you don’t feel like it, – you are honoring Me and I will bless that. There will be time enough for everything. I have laid out the path before you, and you will find grateful faces surrounding you. I am a generous God, not a harsh, demanding one. Change your perspective from one of being “hurt” or “guilty” to one of being ready to see Goodness. My love abounds and the earth is dancing all around you. Rise up and join the dance.

Come Out and Interact
I know some days it’s tough to feel sociable. You’d rather ‘hole up’, seclude, and withdraw. I may call you out, though, – asking or inviting you to interact with others. Even if you don’t feel like it, know that you can do it with My help when I nudge. I ask you to be strong and courageous, not scared or discouraged. I can make these interactions gentle on you. Be there for others today on My behalf. Find how enriching this contact with others can be when you come out. Help show My love in the world today, and find Me with you in doing so.
Shake the Dust Off
Tenderly I surround you. The harshness of the world has at times taken its toll on you. Still, I make every day new and fresh. Allow yourself to shake the dust from yesterday’s concerns off of your feet, and move on into the newness of today. See how I light up the world! All does not have to feel so oppressive, negative, stressful, or overbearing when you open your awareness to My Presence. I am the Light of the world, in whom there is NO DARKNESS, and you, My beloved, are directly tied to Me. Absorb this Light and make Goodness happen in this day despite any and all circumstances you are confronted with. Know Me, and share this gift with others who as yet do not see or recognize My Presence in and around them.
Offer Up a Smile
My child, – how good it is to see your smiling face! Practice smiling more. Your demeanor affects your outlook. When one wears a dead-pan or irritated look, it can fade the joy of the Spirit all around. Practicing tenderness and affectionate gestures allows My Light to beam in, bringing comfort and healing both inwardly and outwardly. It’s a simple gesture; an offering, if you will, of gratitude for life in general. Offer up a smile and watch the impact. See how it changes not only the atmosphere around you but also pervades your own Spirit. Bring Light to My people with this positive gesture, allowing it to permeate the very fiber of your being.
Don’t Buy the Lie
All deceitful thoughts that try to suggest you are “less than”, unworthy, tainted, or that you somehow just don’t measure up are lies. It is not only My Presence with and in you that is Good; it is also My design of you. Calm yourself with these words, allowing confidence to be bolstered. You are inherently Good and worthy of good things. How might you carry yourself differently in this day if you embraced your GREATNESS and your much-needed place in this world? Don’t buy the lie that you don’t belong wherever I place you today. Choose to love as I love, filled by the grace and power to do so. This includes loving yourself, made in My image. Peel away any hurtful images the world has imposed on you, and discard those at My feet. Allow Me to make you whole again.
Give Your Shoulders a Break
There is no need for all this distress. Your tendency to hyper-plan and fret only serves to block My Light. I already have the way planned out for you, My child. Don’t waste your energy on needless and excessive worrying. Instead, ask for Grace to wash over you with resulting reassurance. I am a Good and merciful Lord. Let Me bear the burdens and give your shoulders a break. Come to Me and I will ease your pain. No concern goes unnoticed by Me. Breathe, and allow My Light and peace to soothe you. Let Me help carry the load.
Stay Close
I give you this day with all of its concerns and unknowns. I see your anxious eyes. You don’t have to be so afraid; I am a trustworthy God. Consider yourself a trusting toddler taking My hand as I lead you safely to places you’ve never been. I know where we are going. I am the one taking you there! Stay close by My side when you feel afraid. My protective arm is ever-ready to shield and comfort you. You are never alone.
End Worried Anticipation
I will not abandon you. I know how often you brace yourself for the day, concerned in advance that you will be met with adversity. You become hyper-alert and filled with worried anticipation. This anxiety is not allowing room for Me and your anxious mindset can easily derail you. Even if you do encounter adversity, – which will inevitably happen in life sometimes, – don’t forget that I will be with you and within you. Concentrate on Me and My protective guidance. You can stop bracing for negative outcomes because there is nothing that you and I cannot handle together. End your fearful anticipation by finding confidence and peace as you trust My capacity to handle anything that comes your way (even the hard things).
Ask Me to Steer
Wherever you go, I go. There are days when your awareness of Me feels foggy and distant. Don’t forget that I am ALWAYS with you. That’s a really big deal. I give you purpose, daily. I celebrate, console, drive, and nurture you in accurate doses, – always supplying exactly enough to sustain you. Drink in this truth, and ask Me to steer today. Ride along in the passenger seat, open to all I have in store.
Rest for the Tired
I don’t lead or create you to live a tiresome life. There are far too many well-intentioned but tired Christians out there always overdoing out of some strange approval-seeking from Me. I don’t work that way. My work ethic requires attentiveness to Me and love for your neighbor. Along the way other things will come up, but if they make your head spin or leave you feeling bitter and frazzled, it may mean you’ve lost your focus on one of these two things: love God; love all. I’ll help you sort out the additional tasks that are mounting up; don’t worry about that. Come back to Me. Seek Me with all your heart and you will find Me in your midst. A strange peace will settle over you as My blessings wash over you simply because you’ve turned to Me and let me take the reins. Let Me help you find rest and balance as you focus on loving, purely and simply.
