Questioning Your Purpose & Value

I know you sometimes question your purpose and value. It’s there, though – woven inside your heart by My Spirit, which is living in you. It might be even harder for you to see in yourself, but others recognize and are comforted by you. Today, try trusting that what you contribute is enough. You don’t have to demonstrate exceptional things in order to be valued. What if I told you just sitting there, being present to Me, is enough? Follow My lead on this today, practicing being comfortable in your own skin without “works”. Be My tangible light in the world, brightening the experience of others you encounter. Take joy in this simple kind of loving attentiveness.

Called to Necessary Work

There is work to do today. Approach it lightheartedly, trusting that you’ll have the insight, skill, and stamina to do what needs to be done. Think of yourself as a partner on a mission with Me: your aim is to help modify the world into a place of care and compassion. Show it in small ways like messaging anyone who may be hurting and needs an attentive friend. Even your other tasks like organizing and responding to details are important to Me as part of My plan. It’s all necessary work which I have called you to do. View your work with delight and eagerness, knowing and trusting that this is My special assignment designed just for you. I love you and need you, and am with you in it all.

Stay On Board

You have true purpose in this world. I am navigating the boat through murky waters for you. Stay on board and see where all of this leads. I’m taking you to new places, but you need not be anxious. Release your tendency to try and map everything out. Take the ride one day at a time, trusting that your future is safely in My hands.

Destined for Purposeful Use

All living things have the capacity for Me to work in and through them. Knowing this truth, how can you view your interactions with others differently today? Will you show more interest? Would you be more eager to listen than to expound your own opinions? Will you step into leadership roles, bravely trusting that I’ve equipped you? Go now in peace and enthusiasm to hear and be with Me. Walk with humble confidence, trusting that My Light is in you. You are destined for purposeful use in a world that is hungry for Me. 

Your Only Job Is To Love

You think you have many tasks on your calendar today, but look at it from this perspective: your only job is to love. In every call you receive and every interaction you have, your business is simply to show love. That may require you to listen a little longer to those who appear annoying or trivial initially. Lend an attentive ear with kindness. It may require reaching out when you know it will cause an investment of time that you’d rather be spending elsewhere. If you take My business of loving to the streets of your city, My kingdom can be built one encounter at a time. Take the excess worry, anxiety, and frustration off your plate and pile it at My feet. I’ll make room for what is most needed today.

I Will Attend To You

You can make it through today. This day is BLESSED. You are My hands, My eyes, My voice of hope to people in need, so take joy in this. It can give you energy back. If any resentment lingers, push it out and be rid of it.  Find reasons to laugh today. I know it’s hard with so many demands on your life, but as you attend to them, I will attend to you.

The Speed of Activity

You’ve got plenty going on right now. Whether it’s slowing down or ramping up, let Me be the one who leads the pace. You’ve heard “timing is everything”, and “God-speed”. Let these phrases boost you with enough energy or patience to do what’s needed  just for today. Really try staying in the present, trusting My timing and the speed of activity required of you. You don’t have to be intimidated when things are moving fast, nor do you have to feel agonized when life moves too slow for your taste. This is the perfect time to breathe in trust and exhale confidence in Me. Together with Me, it will all be just right.

You Fit In

Do you know how much you are needed in the world? Do you recognize how others look to you for affirmation and encouragement? Do you see how I am at work not just in and for you, but also through you? Therein lies the truth. You are oh-so-valuable. You belong. You fit in and have a place and a purpose like no other. So much of your anxiety stems from doubting this. Ask My Spirit to help wash away the needs and fears so you can interact from a place of peaceful confidence today. Watch as Goodness unfolds naturally when you trust in being My creation with a purpose that suits you perfectly.

Take Today Moment By Moment

Keep listening. I am near. Even when it’s hard to decipher My call to you, I am still present, always. I may have asked you to pull back from a busy schedule and observe Me in action attending to you and others in small ways. If I’m nudging you into action, you’ll know it. My ways are unstoppable. Take today hour by hour and moment by moment so that you can be aware of My nearness and reassured My purposes are being carried out.

When You Feel Discouraged

I know what I have asked you to do can be hard. When you feel discouraged, – even angry at the load you carry for Me, – remember that I am right there with you carrying the weight and renewing your strength daily. Don’t fall under the deceptive one’s message that you “can’t handle it anymore”. That is a lie, because with Me, all things are possible. Your life, your purpose, and your joy matters to Me immensely because you are My beloved child. Step persistently into today with confident trust that your deepest desires have been heard and are being attended to by Me.
