This is the day the Lord has made. I ask you to be glad and rejoice in it. Don’t let simple worries or spinning imaginings of “what if’s” take away your capacity to be content in the moment. I am your God, and I desire to bring about good things including justice and kindness. Bring me an act of love or a glad heart as your worship offering today.

The Aching of Your Heart
It is My will that you find the pathway I have laid out for you. I don’t try to make things difficult, but I do wait to make the way clear until you have eyes that are ready to see and ears that are ready to hear. Listen to the aching of your heart, revealing its greatest need. I am guiding you as you learn to pay attention to what I am saying. My voice is powerful, and it will speak to you in due time. Bring your needs to Me in fervent prayer. I honor those who worship Me and long to trust in My desires for them.
I See Your Pain
I see your pain. I hear your fearful and occasionally agitated voice, and I recognize your wish for peace and love. Remind yourself that I long for you all the day long. Our connection is not “magical”, – it is REAL. My tender heart is yours. My strength is there for you. Seek My kingdom first in your decision-making, and discover that I am there with you all the way through even when life feels painful. Imagine my loving, supportive arms around you in these moments. Hear My tender voice speaking at times through others, too. Utilize thankfulness as a tool to draw closer to Me.
Leap with Complete Faith
I call you to BIG THINGS. Don’t be overwhelmed! Every day leads you on clearer paths to the work you’ve been destined by Me to do. When I open doors, it’s because you are ready. My timing is perfect, so walk or leap with complete faith and trust. There’s no need to feel tentative or hesitant. By trusting Me with all that is in store, you can boldly move forward. The anxious ways of your former mind can melt away in My trusted hands of healing and hope.
Provision for Everything Needed Today
I give you your daily bread, with provisions for everything needed to sustain you in this day. Don’t jump too far ahead with your planning, though, – otherwise you might overlook the things I have in store for you today! Simple joys, moments with gorgeous views…receive these little delights as love-messages from Me. I am already working in your life in and through time. If it feels like I’m calling you to do a lot, remember that I don’t ask you to go solo. Nothing you do, think, need, or say goes unnoticed by Me, your Provider of all. Take this bread and eat it, remembering and acknowledging Me as sovereign over every aspect of your life.
Wash Away Dark Thoughts
Take a big breath in. Hold it, then release slowly, breathing out anxiety and troubling thoughts. Breathe in Light, Goodness, Peace. Breathe out worries, restlessness, anger, sadness, and fear. Do this repeatedly until you can clear the way to feeling and seeing My Presence behind your closed eyes. So little of what you worry about ever comes true, or even matters in the grand scheme of things. I don’t mean to say that your feelings are not important to Me; heavens no! But I am trying to teach you that My Peace is there for you more readily than you may be allowing against your clutter of needless worry. My love is dazzling, with pure and clean waters all available to help you wash away dark thoughts. Let Me help push away that which clouds your head and heart. Go to My well and have your fill.
Do Your Best
Do your best. That’s an offer in gold for Me. I don’t ask for perfection from you or anyone else. Using the skills I designed in you to the best of your ability is an act of grateful worship. I’m perfectly okay with mistakes. Keep offering your best, knowing that you are enough for Me, exactly as you are!
Untwist the Anxious Knots
Go into this day knowing you are well-equipped for whatever tasks you have lined up to do. I give you the tools you need: reasoning, wisdom, words to speak, energy. When anxiety begins to bundle you in knots, turn to Me to help untwist them. I know what is important and necessary as well as what can be discarded, but you do not always know or see these things as clearly. When you find yourself overwhelmed or wrestling, think to turn to Me for help. Pause, and allow the Great I Am to breathe calm into you, giving you the direction you need one piece at a time.
Lower the Expectation Bar
You are designed to be at peace. The world calls people to convoluted lifestyles with mixed up priorities, frenzied to-do lists, and misguided agendas. Yes, I have things for you to do, – but My way is created to not overburden you beyond what you can handle. Come to me if you are weary and feeling overwhelmed. Find a quiet place to speak with Me, then hand your worries into My tender care. As you take time to listen, – really listen!, – to Me, you will find that I am less hard on you than you are on yourself. Lower the level of your expectation bar to accommodate realistic goals today.
Determine What’s Important
I am a gentle God. Do not mistake My gentleness for lacking in power, because I still am the Great I Am who can accomplish all things. I may be calling you to sort out your priorities, releasing things that aren’t worth your time in My eyes as I help you determine what’s important. In a quiet space, hear My forgiveness. Let go of hurt. I can help you find the peace you so desire. In the quiet you will find renewal, clarity, and strength to do what is right and good.
