Some days are quieter than others. Instead of waiting and listening for some miraculous words from Me, I encourage you to be still and practice awareness of My constant Presence. I am near. I am here, always. You can be profoundly reassured by this truth. Let Me ready you for the day, calming your nervousness with a simple “Hush, my love”. You are LOVED and you are MINE, fully and forever. Repeat this message until it is heard deep within, palpable and grasped.

Many people frantically say, “I don’t hear the call! I don’t get it – what am I supposed to do?!” They don’t recognize that My call may simply be to attend to the tasks before you today with willingness and love. When you feel a nudge to call and check in on someone, or to stop what you are doing and really listen to someone interrupting you, or to respond to a small distraction – these may be My plans just as much as some big, idyllic life change. Not all of My calls require remarkable outcomes or noteworthy events. Learn to listen with your heart. As you let compassion and love rule the day, this will resonate in your soul calling you to the true lifestyle I created for you to live.

I have much to say, but you will need ears that can hear Me. Are there obstacles clouding your judgment or distractions causing you to not concentrate on our conversation? Name them, and work to uproot them. Hear Me whispering – I desire so much for us to have constant communication. I want to shower you with the blessing of our relationship. Don’t turn your face away, confusing the silence with thinking I have stopped talking. You are Mine. Tell Me what is on your heart, and find Me listening attentively and compassionately to your every word.

Be curious about all I have in store for you today. Instead of making judgements about those you encounter, listen with an intent to better understand and appreciate what they are sharing with you. Throw any hint of judgementalism to the wayside, including your own self-criticism inside your head. Allow yourself to be more at ease by accepting your own contribution as being worthy of attention and being enough for what is needed in the moment. All is well. You can trust that My hand is active in and all around your life.

I am a God of leisure, just as I am a God of work. Take time to notice things around you as you move at a relaxed pace. When you are too busy and hurried, you may miss all the tender gifts I have placed within your sight and reach. Work on silencing your thoughts and listening with all of your senses from time to time. Why do you push yourself so hard? Find the balance I intended for your life and nourish your soul.

You don’t have to be so rushed. There are ways to build calmness into your day, and into your head and heart. Choose to sit still, closing your eyes if you can, and concentrate on slow, deep breathing. Notice the Light pouring into your eyes, even through closed lids. Repel thoughts of tasks waiting to be done, deflecting them out of your mind intentionally as you seek My calming Presence. Soak it in. Repeat these mantras until My truth settles in: All is well. I am yours. Hear My voice.
