Go into this day knowing you are well-equipped for whatever tasks you have lined up to do. I give you the tools you need: reasoning, wisdom, words to speak, energy. When anxiety begins to bundle you in knots, turn to Me to help untwist them. I know what is important and necessary as well as what can be discarded, but you do not always know or see these things as clearly. When you find yourself overwhelmed or wrestling, think to turn to Me for help. Pause, and allow the Great I Am to breathe calm into you, giving you the direction you need one piece at a time.

Lower the Expectation Bar
You are designed to be at peace. The world calls people to convoluted lifestyles with mixed up priorities, frenzied to-do lists, and misguided agendas. Yes, I have things for you to do, – but My way is created to not overburden you beyond what you can handle. Come to me if you are weary and feeling overwhelmed. Find a quiet place to speak with Me, then hand your worries into My tender care. As you take time to listen, – really listen!, – to Me, you will find that I am less hard on you than you are on yourself. Lower the level of your expectation bar to accommodate realistic goals today.
Determine What’s Important
I am a gentle God. Do not mistake My gentleness for lacking in power, because I still am the Great I Am who can accomplish all things. I may be calling you to sort out your priorities, releasing things that aren’t worth your time in My eyes as I help you determine what’s important. In a quiet space, hear My forgiveness. Let go of hurt. I can help you find the peace you so desire. In the quiet you will find renewal, clarity, and strength to do what is right and good.
No Need to Be Guarded
Enter each space and task with an internal calm and confidence today, trusting that I’ve placed you there on purpose, for My reasons. Observe and listen well first. Speak only when you can do so grounded in My loving ways. My Grace will fill you, pushing away the anxiety and softening your heart. There is no need to be guarded once you have let Me enter in.
Call to the Quiet
There is so much activity all around you and in your busy head. Things to do at work and home, resounding noise in social media and news headlines, unanticipated interruptions. I call you to the quiet. It’s so important to carve out this time for us. Take time intermittently during the day to quietly spend time with you and I together, communicating and listening. This intentional pause button is the best and only way to replenish you. Without it, you can easily become derailed into thinking everything is all up to you. Worry stems from this misnomer. Release every single piece of your life into My hands to determine the direction for you today.
Fearful About Expectations
Return to Me again and again. When you are feeling fearful about meeting expectations, when you experience tension or irritability rising, or when you just need to breathe, return, seeking My face and My peace. I am your ever-present Lord and friend. I can help shift your perspective, giving you clarity on what to focus on vs. what you can release. Be confident that you are meeting My expectations for you. Breathe, and trust Me that we are in on all of this together.
Facing Challenges
Hear Me clearly: I do not “reprimand” you. I am not that kind of God! If you are facing challenges that seem to attack or deplete your spirit, know that I may be forming or shaping you more into My likeness, – and so, choose to say thank you. Choose to trust Me even more, knowing that I will reveal Myself to you more fully with each step of your life. My ways are not meant to be hard. Sometimes they call upon you to shed unimportant details, enlightening simpler priorities and gleaning peace from it all as you learn to live a life of simplicity. I am with you, and so, you are up for the challenge!
I Hold It All
I read your thoughts and already know your needs. I will touch others through you, satisfying your desire for attention in meaningful ways. You are an important presence to others around you, but I desire your full attention. Seek Me first and My kingdom of peace will be yours. I don’t call you to sacrifice all day to a point of resentment. I do, however, ask you to lay your life down when your desires are not in line with My purpose for you. I will help you discern that. Ask Me for help when you are confused on which way to go. Pray for others. I hear it all; I hold it all. Relax as you allow Me to take the lead from you. Enjoy life with Me at the helm instead.
Banquet of Choices
I am in this day and ever present at your side. Hear My call to you in a whisper of love. Be comforted by My Presence, knowing I am not asking you to do more than you can handle. I have placed a beautiful table before you with a banquet of choices and blessings to do with as you will. You have the freedom to choose. Seek My guidance and I will be happy to point you in the right direction, with paths of righteousness, pure thoughts, and blessings abundantly available. Choose wisely.
Looking Out for You
You are beginning to hear My voice and trust My truth in your life. You can recognize that no matter what, you are loved and I am looking out for you. Even if it feels like you are going unnoticed or being left alone to deal with a mountain of worries, this simply isn’t true. I am here. I can carry the weight on your shoulders today: entrust Me with both the plans and the outcomes. Watch as I work things out and your fears trickle away downstream. My mighty river of strength surges all around and through you, equipping you to handle all that you encounter. Know and trust my love for you with attention to every detail of your life.
