Quiet yourself, then brace yourself. I have definite plans for you which you do not know or cannot see clearly yet. I am definitely guiding this process, so release your cares to Me. I know it take such an act of faith to simply trust Me in all the unknowns. Draw near to Me and ready yourself to receive. You don’t have to know everything right now. I’ll share bits and pieces as you are ready. Seek Me and find Me already in your midst today. Even though you don’t trust the current circumstances around you, you can find confident trust within My plans in store for you.
God’s Plan
Tell Them
Others have their eye on you, – watching with curiosity how you live a with-God life instilled with such confidence and hope. Tell them. Tell them how you know Me and how trustworthy I am. Tell them they can know Me, too. Tell them how I understand their pain like no other can: intimately and compassionately, – and how I heal. Tell them that My Light outshines and overpowers any darkness they are experiencing. My love rules with kindness and forgiveness. Tell them how I listen, and I know every detail of their struggles as well as their joys. Reassure them that I have Good plans in store. I am Your God. I am theirs, too. Speak truth to those who will listen in a hungry world.
An Audience of One
Concentrate on My flow plan for today. As activities unfold, moment by moment, allow My lead to guide your steps. Recognize the pressure for “performance” that is ego-driven, and instead, perform for Me as an audience of One. Show your stuff in honor of Me. It’s okay to be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and appealing to others – this is part of how I designed you. Share news and information that edifies. Be delightful! You are My bright child in whom My Light shines. Go with confidence, joyfully, into this day with the pressure off. In you I am already well-pleased.
I Know the Way
I know the way. I know the reasons. Walk in trust, knowing that I am leading you right where I most need you to go. You will enter every event and circumstance well-equipped to do My work. Relax into the experience, listening and speaking as My Spirit prompts you to. I picked you for these tasks and encounters because I sustain all life. You are created for My Good. I interweave people, needs, skills, blessings, hurts, and healing by attending to each person with great love and mastery over all things. Allow Me to do a good work in You and through you today. Don’t forget that I’m listening and attending to each of your own deep and personal needs, too. I hear the unspoken pieces and am responding to all things in due time.
Be Flexible Today
I’m preparing you to start this day. You’ve wrapped your head tightly around your to-do list, but I may have other things in store. I ask you to be flexible today, open to how I want to work in your life. I know how releasing your grip of control makes you nervous, but as you place child-like trust in Me you will see how much easier I make the work ahead. Let go of your worries, investing confidence in Me and My Good plans in store for you.
Take Today Moment By Moment
Keep listening. I am near. Even when it’s hard to decipher My call to you, I am still present, always. I may have asked you to pull back from a busy schedule and observe Me in action attending to you and others in small ways. If I’m nudging you into action, you’ll know it. My ways are unstoppable. Take today hour by hour and moment by moment so that you can be aware of My nearness and reassured My purposes are being carried out.
Allow Connections
You are a blessing to others just as they are to you. I designed it that way. You may not easily recognize your own need for others, so today I ask you to be mindful of that. I may be trying to speak to, nurture, and guide you in My ways if you open yourself to eyes that see and ears that hear. I also use you to intervene with others. My all-powerful and loving hands are always at work this way. Draw close to Me, allowing connections to others to happen. Do not isolate yourself; this is not My design.
Rock of Faith
You are My rock…at least, you can be when you decide to trust that this is how I made you to be. I can empower you to do so much more than you limit yourself in imagining. I gave you My Paraclete, who is in you and with you and ready to accomplish giant things in My name. Are you ready? Are you willing to open yourself to the possibilities of all I have in store for your life? Remember, you do not do any of this alone or on your own might. I equip you, daily, for mighty and for small things. All you need to do is say, “Yes, Lord”, and My kingdom can be built upon your rock of faith.
Resist the Temptation to Multi-Task
Take it easy today. By that I mean ease into the duties awaiting you. Take one thing on at a time instead of trying to manage the whole pile. Resist the temptation to multi-task and you will find the day feeling more manageable. Trust Me to hand you things one by one in the order most needing attention. Ask for My Grace to help slow you down and concentrate. I am with you and for you as you accomplish My Will for you today.
Trust Me Even Without the Answers
I know you are waiting for something “profound” to be spoken to you. You look to Me for grounding and direction, and I will do both things. First, be rooted in My word and My love. From there you will be compelled to move in the right direction. You might not recognize it in advance, and planner-that-you-are wants all the answers up front. You can trust Me even without the answers. Let Me guide you slowly. Read My words and work on knowing love. Starting from there, the rest will fall into place.
