Stay true to what I put on your heart and what resonates on a gut-level. It is here that I speak to you in mysterious ways. The nudge to call someone that comes out of the blue. The urge to truly listen and focus on strangers or acquaintances who talk to you, not giving in to distraction or allowing impatience or boredom to pull you away. Everyone deserves to be heard, – even you. I assure you, I am listening. I may be urging you to speak up, too. Listen to your heart and sense the part that is My voice calling out. You can trust the way I speak to you and sense the direction you are to take.

Lacking Motivation
I see your weariness, recognizing that you are bone-tired and lacking motivation. What if I approached you and said, “Get up! Pick up your mat, and let’s go!” Wouldn’t you do it readily for Me, with a renewed spring in your step? What I call you to today may not be as dramatic as that story, but how I call you is the same for you as it was for that person. Your work today, – the job you are “hired” for, – is to follow Me. I call you to the labor at hand, which is work we’ll do together. I’ll energize you, feed you, and assign the tasks to be done. I’ll even equip you with the skills needed for each assignment. Rise up joyfully, My beloved child; it’s time to get to work. Join Me in the day’s adventures ahead.
Don’t Get Too Far Ahead
Don’t get too far ahead of the game. Stay in the moment, otherwise you run the risk of tripping up the plays. I know exactly what I’m aiming at, – who is supposed to block, who will receive the catch, who should run, and who needs to stay back. Keep your eye on Me, your quarterback, and go where My eyes point you to go. I might need you to stay put for now, too. You can trust how I orchestrate; I know what will work best.
Everything That Is Essential
Some days it’s hard to find direction with the way your mind spins with mini panic attacks: “Don’t forget ____!” “Make sure you ____!” It’s at these times when you most need Me but can hardly hear My voice over the din of to-do’s. Stop and recognize that I will equip you, and everything that is essential will get done. Thank Me for My companionship. Recognize your neediness and ask for My help. Only then can I step in to effectively provide you with peace. Remember Who is in charge and Who you belong to. Not everything will get done today, but that’s okay. I’ll still love you and help you see what matters most.
Use Your Heart Instead of Words
Allow the draw of our relationship to keep you seated with Me long enough to gain your fill of truth and direction. I ask you to hold your tongue today and practice the art of listening before speaking. Observe those who are hurting and silently, secretly, offer them up to My healing hands. Take the pressure off of yourself trying to come up with the right words. Instead, stay true to the heart behind the tongue. Try this simple technique and see how My Love -Light grows through quietly attentive interactions. Be My Light on the world using your heart instead of your words.
How You Approach Things
I never leave you to handle things all by yourself. I can redeem past hurts & sorrows and help with current challenges, making Goodness happen, but you are still allowed the freedom to choose how you see and approach things. Consider bringing your perspective before Me for review. Allow Me to help sort things out and assist you with clearing your mind. As you become open to My loving, gentle guidance I will give you direction on how to handle whatever you are encountering. In choosing to push your momentary distress aside and trust Me instead, I’ll make way for a fresh outlook on the most helpful approach to your situation.
Trust Me Even Without the Answers
I know you are waiting for something “profound” to be spoken to you. You look to Me for grounding and direction, and I will do both things. First, be rooted in My word and My love. From there you will be compelled to move in the right direction. You might not recognize it in advance, and planner-that-you-are wants all the answers up front. You can trust Me even without the answers. Let Me guide you slowly. Read My words and work on knowing love. Starting from there, the rest will fall into place.
Create Goodness in a Troubled World
Be a conduit for My outcomes. I ask you to show up for the day open to how I will use you. All things happen for a positive reason when you release yourself into the care and guidance of My capable hands. I won’t let you down. You can come through anything with a bright outlook, knowing and trusting that your future is safe with Me at your side, always. Let’s go create Goodness and share blessings in a troubled world. You are an encourager and we will use that for Good today.
Go Willingly
Are you fighting against the tide? Go willingly where I am taking you and the way will be easier. If you are in high water, I will help you stay afloat. I will also deposit you back on shore for time to rest and recuperate. Entrust Me with the plan because I love you. I don’t want you to be so anxious all the time. Go with My flow, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light. There is a Divine direction in all of this.
Replenishment
I don’t call you to a life that is HARDER. The slowing of your pace or productivity, if done for My Purposes, is totally acceptable. There are times requiring much of your focus and energy, but I am also a God of replenishment. The world’s standards and demands can pull you in many directions, yet I call you to simplify. Ask for My Guidance as you discern when to move and when to rest; when to interact and when to be still. In all things, know that I am God.
