Be generous with your attention to others today. Really focus on what they are saying and contributing rather than just concentrating on your own rebuttal or personal statements. It is not that I want you to squelch your voice; I’m just asking you to give space for others to talk and for you to truly listen. All people crave to be heard and validated. Once you’ve done that, you will know when it is time to share your own ideas and thoughts. Listen first and listen well, finding joy in the connection that results.

See the Light Through the Trees

You can do it. I know life feels like a lot lately, but it is not more than you can handle. See the light breaking through the trees? You know what that means! I have not abandoned you in a dark forest. No. I will light your path, always. I need you, and I rely on your steadfast faith to show others the way, too. Be true to that, and also gentle with yourself. Take today’s tasks in balance, allowing others to help. Part of what I call you to do is lead others in their own roles. They are growing, too, which is a lovely thing.

Call You to a Higher Standard

You will work through it. You always do. While others may not change, I call you to a higher standard. Concentrate on doing what you need to do and I’ll take care of the rest. You don’t have to worry about fixing things; I’ll take care of that. It’s not up to you this time. I will show you the way you shall walk. Indeed, the future is good and full of greatness! A thing to behold, really, and it is near at hand. Take hold of joy and wonder by keeping your eyes open for it.

Aim To Move On

Even on gray days, life can be wonderful. It might take a little effort to shift your attitude from “woe is me” to “Hey! There’s opportunity for Good things to happen today!” Open yourself to possibility. Spend a little time dreaming about or imagining happy experiences. Just the thought of them alone can lift your spirit. Pause and be grateful for something. You don’t have to fret about days-gone-by. Aim to move on and more forward. I am driving the plan, and there are always Good things in store. Believe Me.

I Will See It Through

I have things all laid out. Come to Me and you’ll find rest. I have begun a good work using you and will see it through to completion. I promise that you will have enough energy and stamina to get it all done; just open your eyes to the beauty around you any time you start feeling anxious. I am here. I will guide your steps and your words. May bitterness and anxiety fall away as you remember that you have holy hands and feet, and Goodness will flow from your efforts.

Where I Am Taking You

I know you are tired of the car ride with me right now. I see how easily you feel discouraged or crushed in spirit when things aren’t working the way you think they should. I know you sometimes wonder, “Where are you taking me?” and may want to ask Me, “Can I stop the car for a while, or get off at the nearest exit?” I will take over the driver’s seat when you let Me. I have the map, and I’ll provide all the fuel you will need to keep going on this ride. You can trust where I am taking you, even if you cannot see the destination right now. Just knowing we are together in the car will help you manage. You can trust My driving.

Eyes on the Mast

I am guiding the boat. You’ve been a good captain, steering the ship thus far. Your boat is sea-worthy and will not sink because I have built it. Keep your eyes on the Mast, – looking forward, – and on the Master who guides you. I will bless your journey. I see your coming and your going, watching as you navigate both calm waters and stormy seas. The troubles will pass; just keep steering. I am all you will need to stay afloat.

A Flexible Attitude

Try not to get flustered today. When something or someone starts to ruffle your feathers, take a breath and turn to face Me. I will help you allow differences of opinion or changes in direction and outcomes with a flexible, amenable attitude. Be open to things even when they don’t go your way. This may be a time for personal growth. As you release your own agendas, you will be encouraged by the trust you invest in My plan unfolding in a divine direction. I will take care of you through it all; I promise.

In Doable Increments

You can try to look beyond the horizon, but you won’t be able to see it. That’s because I don’t intend for you to worry about future things. The field and the forests right in front of you are plenty to take in for now. Picture Me clearing a path through the density of all this activity going on in your life. See how it unfolds, just a little bit at a time. You don’t have to cover more ground than what is right in front of you. Things can wait. Trust that I have it all laid out in doable increments, then concentrate on just taking one step at a time. There is no need to run down this path, either. Take your time, and it will all be covered eventually as you stay on track with Me.

Your Impact on Others

You have more of an impact on others than you realize. With each day as you age, you gain experiences, wisdom, and insight that I use as value to someone else down the road. Nothing you’ve gone through goes to waste when you allow Me to mold it into something for Good. I don’t want you stifled by false humility. Step forward confidently when I call you to lead. Be bold in what you ask of yourself and others, and see how I open doors of opportunity with fresh nuances of healing. There is plenty up ahead that I need you involved in and that I want you to receive from Me. Persist with My aim for you.
