Let’s start this day out easier. Unplug from the myriad of tasks awaiting you for a moment and sit with Me. Talk to Me about what you treasure and value. Share your worries and concerns with My attentive ears and gaze right before you. Don’t look away or get distracted by your phone Stay with Me long enough to be truly reminded of how much I am involved in your life. I am your Constant Companion who wants so much to sustain you and give you peace and joy. Stay here long enough for your insides to settle down and your anxiety to filter away under the power of My love for you.
I have much to say, but you will need ears that can hear Me. Are there obstacles clouding your judgment or distractions causing you to not concentrate on our conversation? Name them, and work to uproot them. Hear Me whispering – I desire so much for us to have constant communication. I want to shower you with the blessing of our relationship. Don’t turn your face away, confusing the silence with thinking I have stopped talking. You are Mine. Tell Me what is on your heart, and find Me listening attentively and compassionately to your every word.
In this world there will always be disagreements. Sometimes the wayfinding isn’t clear-cut. It’s okay to have your own opinions, but it’s also important to seek to understand others. Hear them out, and if necessary, agree to disagree. You can share your views diplomatically when they are tempered by My Grace. Ask for My help to ‘keep your cool’, and start every comment by considering the most loving and compassionate intention you can back it up with. I will give you the words to say and equip you with the way to phrase it. Aim to treat all with dignity and respect. Trust Me to help.
You are Mine, and I am your Great Companion keeping you on track. It is you who sometimes doubts that, not Me. Do you understand what being a companion means? I ask you to talk over plans, share intimate thoughts and details, laugh, cry, and share all of life together with Me. Are you fully with Me? Discover the joy that our companionship offers today and every day. You can take it one day at a time. Tell Me everything; don’t hold anything back. I will share the load and celebrate the accomplishments. Let’s live together in the moment.
I see your pain and hear your thoughts. Keep talking to Me. This is a two-way street. You don’t have to feel like the conversation is only one-sided, as if I am merely a God who listens but never responds. I ‘get’ you more than you realize; you don’t have to convince Me of your needs or intentions. I am aware of all the frailty and vulnerability you carry inwardly. Believe, Me, I am using your life for Goodness. I attend to every detail, loving you through all things. Hear My voice reassuring you that I am tenderly responding to your every need.
You have things to say and good ideas to contribute. I’ve equipped you with the ability to put together thoughts, and what you have to say is important. Don’t be intimidated. Speak up, even if it seems scary or trivial. You matter, and so do your ideas and opinions. Don’t get caught up in second-guessing or rehashing every word you said. Trust Me. You are My shared voice in the world and I need you to voice what’s on your mind or laid upon your heart.
You know Me. Live your day knowing that no matter what, I love you deeply and unequivocally. Your anxiety will lessen as you concentrate on this fact and stop beating yourself up. You have done well, confronting things and working to improve communication with those around you. Even though that’s been a hard job, it is Good. You are already loved and respected. Now, just know Me more. Include Me in your days so I can gently caress away the fears and hurts. Do not fear impressions, because you are on an equal plane with others. Let’s celebrate that today.
You don’t have to fear. Don’t be afraid of the conversations and interactions ahead of you. I have forgiven you and your past and I have plans in store for you today as well as into the future. They are still big plans! Wait for it. Know that I’ll be with you and the others today as you talk. I need you there. I put you together with them there for a reason. It’s not all up to you to decide or decipher. Ask them about their interests. See their heart for the work and trust Me in whatever follows. My Goodness is real and present, and will override any challenges. I’ll be there; don’t forget that.
Think about Me today so that I can help you with whatever gives you anxiety or frustration. Make it part of your day to say hello to Me. Maybe mention, “Thank you”. Feel free to ask, “Did you notice____?” or “Would you like me to ____?” You fill in the blank in this intimate conversation with Me. Make ours a friendship you can’t wait to share each moment with or each decision made together. I can’t wait to spend the day with you! Let’s chat often, bringing awareness of My company and attentive love ever-so-alive for you.
Allow the draw of our relationship to keep you seated with Me long enough to gain your fill of truth and direction. I ask you to hold your tongue today and practice the art of listening before speaking. Observe those who are hurting and silently, secretly, offer them up to My healing hands. Take the pressure off of yourself trying to come up with the right words. Instead, stay true to the heart behind the tongue. Try this simple technique and see how My Love -Light grows through quietly attentive interactions. Be My Light on the world using your heart instead of your words.
