It pains Me to hear you beating yourself up so much on the inside. Your unrelenting self-critical thoughts are doing damage to My beautiful creation. Those exaggerated images of your flaws are blown out of proportion. Oh My Child, come to Me to hear the truth and find the reassurance you need. Look up, My beloved, and recognize the Goodness I designed and see in you. I long to restore your self-image to its natural state of ease and radiance. Trust Me, believing that you are good, kind, and capable. You are a reflection of Me. Try being gentle and kind in your self-talk today.
Don’t Overthink the Day
All is well. You don’t have to overthink the day ahead. I have taken care of all the details. It’s all laid out on My God-map for you. You have prepared well enough. Now your task is only to journey slowly with Me, – one step, one hour, one task at a time. Let your focus be on loving others, which is pleasing to Me. Be simple and intentional with your gestures and words. My Way is one of peacefulness and gentleness toward and through you today.
Motivation Overhaul
I have things for you to do today. Let’s get started with a clean slate. Allow yourself to wash off the remains of yesterday so you can start fresh with Me. I will restore your energy and give your motivation an overhaul if you let Me in. Allow Me to be the planner and the provider.
Ebbs and Flows
Your worries seem to come in ebbs and flows – ebbing out at times with a sigh of relief when concerns are released and washed away, then flowing back in with rising volume in giant, scary waves. I see your fearful eyes filling with panic when you see the flow coming toward you and start imagining its devastation. You don’t have to get so worked up, though. I will keep your head above waters, always! I will help you ride the wave. Take My hand as I keep you afloat. You are just as safe with Me in the water as you are on dry land without troubles. Trust Me in the deep end as well as in the shallows.
Stop Over-Thinking Things
In My hands. All of it is in My hands. You can stop over-thinking things by focusing on that phrase. No detail goes unnoticed or unrecognized by Me. I am intimately aware of all your concerns as well as your habits of worry. I love you and am tenderly and gently holding every fragment of your life and mind. Shush now, My child. All is well. You don’t have to be so afraid.
Don’t Let the Task-Master Rule
There is much to be said for slowing down. In a fast-paced world there is little room for awareness of My Presence and My reign over you and all of life. Don’t let the task-master ways in you rule. Step back, often, and pause to listen – acknowledging My ways and recognizing My deep love for you. Be especially mindful of that today. Let Me bring peace back to your heart and mind.
Embrace Whatever is Coming
Why do you start to tense up before the day has even begun? It’s like you are constantly bracing yourself for the unknown. Try this instead: embrace whatever is coming with joyful anticipation that Good things will surface! Set your mind on “things unseen” as something positive to look forward to. Picture things working out, – however, leave the definition of that up to Me. I make all things work together for Good. Inhale trust; exhale fear.
Throw Guilt Out
Allow Me to bless you with simple pleasures today. I am a God who calls all to BE RESTORED. I know life can feel overwhelming and burdensome at times, so it is important to enjoy a reprieve now and then. Don’t feel guilty about this. In fact, throw guilt out the door because it has no place in My God-driven life plan for you. Replace any tendency toward guilt with inspiration as I call you to attend to matters of My choosing. Let Me lavish you with some Goodness today so you can in turn share compassion, kindness, and generosity with others in Spirit, attitude, and through whatever means I distribute into your care.
Peace Beyond Reasoning
I wish you could grasp My ways. I call you to a life of peace beyond reasoning. Try it: in this moment, consider that ALL IS WELL. Rest in the fact that as you lay your life before Me, allowing Me to have full control so that My kingdom can be built upon earth as it is in heaven, – you can become overjoyed with your part in this Divine Purpose. Lay your worries at My feet. Push them aside and concentrate on being with Me. Reign in your tendency to try and forecast or fix the future. Concentrate on the simplicity of this moment where you and I are ONE.
Be a Companion To Others
My hand is at work in your life in mostly imperceptible ways. This does not mean I’m orchestrating only demands upon you, nor does it mean your life will be free of hardships. I ask you to be a companion to others along the way. I need your voice to help shepherd and guide My sheep on earth. Do so patiently today- and trust My involvement in your acts of outreach. I will give you the words to say and the steps to take in bringing My Good to all that you encounter today. In this, you will know joy.
Spoken to Me
