I have good plans in store. I am a trustworthy God with a greater design at work than what might be visible to your mind’s eye. I’ll help you step back when it’s time to listen and not respond. Watch as I orchestrate giving others the chance to step up to the plate. See how it’s not all up to you. I can take care of you in ways such as this when you relinquish your frantic attempts to be in control. Things don’t always have to go your way to be good. Sometimes a change in plans works out better. You are safe in My arms; trust Me to be there at all times.

It’s Not All Up to You to Resolve

Why do you have such a heavy heart? I see you carrying the weight of the world around sometimes, but it’s not yours to have to worry about. I will put you in places where your presence and attention to others is most needed, but it’s not all up to you to resolve everything. Leave their concerns, illnesses, situations, choices, and consequences for Me to attend to. I’m fully capable of handling it all. Be gentle with yourself today, giving permission to not be perfect or “on top of everything”. Some things will ultimately be out of your control, but you can trust Me endlessly.

Go With Confidence and Humility

You can do it! I’ve prepared you for this day. Let the power of My purpose living through you knock the socks off those you encounter. Nothing can stand against what I have in store when you and I are working in tandem. Nothing! Throw fear out the door when it tries to get in the way. Go with confidence and humility, with no “greater than” or “less than” comparison warranted. You can be both kind and competent at the same time. That, indeed, is where the power of a with-God life resides.

Things Can, Do, and Will Work Out

You fret about a lot of unnecessary things, picturing the worst-case scenario and bracing anxiously for the unknown.  I call you to address this habit and intentionally change your thought process. When you catch yourself building worries, – STOP. Remind yourself that I am a loving God who is taking care of you and has Good plans in store. Remind yourself you are loved, loving, and capable, and then say, “I trust you Lord. Things will work out in the end. They have before and they will again, because you are caring for Me and my situation.” Things can, do, and will work out. Choose to believe, and allow yourself to live life with greater ease and happiness.

You’re Exactly What is Needed

Don’t be nervous about what the week ahead holds for you. I have you and the plans confidently ready in the palm of My hands. Face the day determined to accept your place in each activity as being truly warranted. You are what I call for in the moment: your voice, your demeanor, and your actions will be spot-on, comprising exactly what is needed. Try to not fall prey to second-guessing that. Trust Me, as I also equip you to trust yourself. You are capable and worthy.

Remove Your Hyper-Responsibility

I want you to work on removing yourself from hyper-responsibility. The world and all of its happenings are not yours to take care of; they belong to Me. Even though I appreciate your good intentions, I want to help you step down from feeling overly responsible for planning, preparing, and outcomes beyond your control. The healthier way to live is to acknowledge My Sovereignty while doing your part to contribute under My direction. Let Me help take the weight off your shoulders. Relax a little more; you don’t have to lead all of the time.

Roll With the Circumstances

You have what it takes. Speak boldly, as I have prepared you to do. Also speak kindly, with nurturing words toward yourself and others. Nothing needs to rile you. You can easily choose to roll with the circumstances that come upon you today, knowing I am with you no matter what happens next. I am present even in the unexpected, so don’t allow anxiety to cast a shadow over the bright things about to happen. You can handle everything when opting to do it in partnership with Me and under My Good plans for you.

Picture Me Making Things Better

Don’t underestimate My ability or power to heal. I change circumstances and move mountains of pride and hurt. Give Me the power to change your heart and mind. Relinquish your attempts to control situations or people, submitting to My will and My ways for you. Picture Me making things better when you hand your worries and frustrations over to Me. I am in your corner, and I want Good things in your life. You can trust Me.

Be a Blank Page

Today, try being a blank page. Go without an agenda, or pre-planning everything. Watch life and experiences unfold before you without the compulsion to be in charge or take over when others aren’t stepping forward. Give yourself the time and space to absorb My gifts to you. I’ll help you fill in the blanks, but for now I just want you to be observant. Open your eyes to all I have in store, and watch the colors I fill the page with.

Your Busy Head

You are bright and beautiful. Your busy head spins with bright thoughts and dark ones intermingled, and hardly a quiet moment. Today, if you notice the cogs on that wheel working double-time, try shutting off the power and allow yourself to be still. Yes, – be still, and know that I am God. I love you just as you are. There’s no need to prove yourself through performance. Be still, and be reassured that all is well for everything beyond your control. I am working to relieve you and protect you from harm. I am trustworthy. Take heart in the stillness as you refocus and are revived.
