When you feel depleted, come to Me to receive the TLC you need. I will feed you and nourish your soul. As a gentle God, I will never turn you away. In fact, I’ve been waiting for you to show up, – watching your circumstances and helping in ways unbeknownst to you already. I treasure you; you are Mine! And as such, I will provide for your needs and sustain you all your days. Come to My table and find a banquet ready and waiting.

I have led you far and wide, to many places in life. Drawing from those experiences, you can see and trust that I am a loving, provisional God who gives you all that you need. I love you intensely and immensely. I am caring for those you love, as well. My generosity knows no bounds. Over and over again I heal, love, and equip. Knowing this to be true, I call you to move into your day with calm inner-confidence. Know that I am God. My desire isn’t to have you work yourself to the bone. I want you to treasure your spirit as I treasure you. Lay your weary head on My shoulder. Let Me soothe away the strain. I am indeed pleased with you. Work less hard in the sense of taking things one task at a time and not overwhelming yourself. Look for Me in the eyes of others who see you as kind, compassionate, and capable. They recognize your fatigue, too, so there’s no need to hide it. Close your eyes and rest on My shoulder as needed today. Let Me help comfort and rejuvenate you as you drink from My well.

I have given you many talents and abilities. One of them is strength to endure hard things. In silent trust, I call you to go about your day knowing that nothing you go through has to be done alone. I am right there, helping to pick up the load and carrying it in partnership with you. There isn’t a single thing that I’m not handling with and for you, or equipping you to manage. There’s no need to try going solo. Lean on Me in confident trust of all you can get through.

Each day people will do small deeds that are inconsiderate or unkind. Sometimes big injustices happen. Even so, I want you to release these irritations and frustrations into My care. Don’t allow your thoughts and emotions to run wild with ideas about how to tell others off or bring about justice on your own. This wastes important energy and will distract you from the peace and joy available within. Don’t get pulled off track today or be derailed by small injustices. Releasing things to My care doesn’t make you a “doormat”. It takes great strength of character to choose to walk away or to treat others with dignity and respect despite their behavior. My way is better. My way will free you and allow you to rise above any circumstance with great calm and internal respect. Pray for your enemies, even if this does not come easily. I will give you the grace, strength and wisdom in how to handle the situation if your heart is intent upon following My way.

I’ve come through before and I will again (and again!). My involvement in your life never comes to an end. See Me as your Savior today, – the One pulling you out of despair and anxiety, the One guiding your choices, and the One giving opportunities for HOPE. I redeem Goodness out of all tragedies and difficulties. When everything seems daunting, look to Me for your strength and choose to trust My Presence and might.

I know you are hurting. I see you sending up signals and flares, feeling stranded and a little abandoned. You are not lost, though, My child. I know exactly where you are, and I am working behind the scenes toward the recovery that is ahead for you. It may mean enduring pain for a while longer, but you can handle some discomfort. I will give you the strength to manage each day, one day at a time. Asking “why” and feeling discouraged won’t help, even though this is a normal reaction. Come to Me and let Me help you bear with this until it passes. You can do hard things with Me at your side and within your spirit.
I know you are tired, groggy, and unmotivated at times like this. I’m still here, though, – hanging out and waiting for you to look My way for support and strength. I can comfort you and give you drive. Rest in Me, finding your energy supply filling from My reservoir. Then, just show up. Things will unfold accordingly and you will both have and be enough to take on whatever comes your way.
When you sit with Me, pushing the pause button on the rest of the day, it’s easier to experience how calming My Presence can be. Take the effort to pause, making the time to rest in My Light and comfort long enough to reassure you. No matter what lies ahead in this day or the next, you don’t have to live frantically driven by anxiety anymore. You can live cupped in the palm of My hands, steadying you and bracing you for the things you face. Gratitude will flow easily from this. No matter what, I’ll be there, giving exactly enough comfort and strength to accept and bear what is.
Rely on Me for help when you feel weary. This yoke is meant to be shared between the two of us. Look for Me in the tiniest details and consider it evidence of My great Love for you. A warm beverage or blanket on a cold, rainy day; the splash of fall color on a leaf; a moment of calming quiet in the middle of a chaotic day. The number of ways I choose to surround you in abundant Love can easily be overlooked or imperceptible to you, yet I am with you always, – making the load manageable.
