You are called to a life of joy, built on a foundation of trust in Me. I don’t want you agonizing over things that are not your concern. Go out and explore all I have waiting for you, receptive to positive and encouraging experiences ahead.

Surprises Around the Corner

Today is yet another gift from Me. I want you to enter it with joyful anticipation of good things ahead. As you set your mind on a hopeful perspective, your actions and outcomes will follow. When the old ‘dread factor’ tries to pull you down, confront it sternly and say it doesn’t belong here. Don’t let it get you down. No matter what, there is always a reason to hope. Trying to Be So On Top of Things

There will be time enough for everything. You get so tangled up in worries that you’ll forget an important detail, trying to be so on top of things all the time. Its exhausting watching you strive this way, often mistaking your regimens as being what I ask of you. I call for BALANCE. Rest is part of that balance. You don’t have to fear not being ‘productive’ all the time. Come play with Me and take time to attend to all the facets of yourself. It all fits into My grand plan for you. Find me as you rediscover what you love and unearth treasures you forgot you had all along.

You Can Live Fully

I dwell in the land of the living – right here with you and around you. I came so that you may have LIFE, and have it to the full! Partnering with Me daily in every plan, thought, task and interaction is how to live fully. The world misleads with its messages of self-sufficiency. Actually, when you learn to deny yourself and listen to what I have in store for you, you actually find greater joy and fulfillment. People fear letting go of “what about ME?”, but as you learn to release these thoughts and embrace living for My plans designed uniquely for you, you will actually find freedom like you’ve never known before. Trust the plan; be open and ready as you find Me already with you. You can and will live fully all the days of your life this way.

Driven with Excessive Responsibility

I call you to attend to certain tasks today, but this is never meant to be heard as a hard task-master. I call out with cries of love for you! How much I desire for you to first and foremost hear My bid for your loving gaze in return. You are so hard on yourself, – so driven with excessive responsibility for many things. As you learn to rely on me, your Maker and the great artist designing your life, you begin to comprehend how My capacity is greater than your needs. Turn to Me and find me Present at all times, and lean on Me to discover the strength and sustenance you need to complete all that is on your plate. Come away with My peace and joy ignited in your spirit.

Days like this are all part of My wonderful design. Soak in the freedom to breathe, plan, be active, and laugh. It’s okay to not have everything mapped out. Sometimes the quirky turns of the unexpected are exactly where My blessing lives. Act upon instinct with exuberance and don’t be afraid to initiate big things. I give you these imaginings so that you can bear My fruit. I love it when you live joyfully; your passion is contagious and is meant to uplift the spirit of others, so hear My call to spread good news of great joy.

Get Rid of the Clutter and Haste

You can be inspired and inspiring. Watch those around you who live joyfully or peacefully, and emulate a lifestyle that devotes itself to those things. Simplicity is a spiritual discipline worth practicing and will help you get there. As you learn to simplify your choices, schedule, and environment, you make room for My spontaneity to enter. Slowing down your activity level will make you more receptive to the slight twists and bends of the journey I’d like to lead you on. I make ways in the wilderness. You’ll find the path I have marked for you. For now, get rid of the clutter and haste. Slowing and simplifying will bring greater joy and peace of mind to you. Less is more.

The Journey May Take Awhile

Try brushing up on your attentiveness skills. Today, listen and watch for the myriad of opportunities I lay before you. No day goes without purpose when you place your life in My capable hands. I may call you to speak, listen, observe, or receive. Try not to force things to occur according to your own agenda, or to push for complete outcomes. Sometimes the journey I have you on may take awhile. The joy is in the serving and in giving as much as in receiving.

Purpose in Appreciation

Taste and see the Goodness I place all around you! Get out and enjoy the fresh air, soaking in the sights and sounds I put near to enthrall you. There is purpose even in the simple act of appreciation. I want you to notice things like beauty, smell, and taste. Open your eyes to all I place before you today. Feel My love for you in the giving and receiving of these gifts. Point it out to others. Too often, people pass quickly by spectacular things, – so hurried and preoccupied with non-edifying distractions. Come to Me to show off the bouquet of delights you pick out from My offerings, allowing Me to share joy with you as we experience and notice things together. See how this eases your soul.
