Restore. Find your JOY, which is what you’ve been seeking. Observe the day. Spend time in slow motion soaking in what you SEE rather than feeling the need to DO. I am the Great Creator who created you and lives within you. Just “be” for a day, and don’t worry about so much planning. Allow things to unfold and witness My gorgeous plans.

Shake the Dust Off
Tenderly I surround you. The harshness of the world has at times taken its toll on you. Still, I make every day new and fresh. Allow yourself to shake the dust from yesterday’s concerns off of your feet, and move on into the newness of today. See how I light up the world! All does not have to feel so oppressive, negative, stressful, or overbearing when you open your awareness to My Presence. I am the Light of the world, in whom there is NO DARKNESS, and you, My beloved, are directly tied to Me. Absorb this Light and make Goodness happen in this day despite any and all circumstances you are confronted with. Know Me, and share this gift with others who as yet do not see or recognize My Presence in and around them.
Offer Up a Smile
My child, – how good it is to see your smiling face! Practice smiling more. Your demeanor affects your outlook. When one wears a dead-pan or irritated look, it can fade the joy of the Spirit all around. Practicing tenderness and affectionate gestures allows My Light to beam in, bringing comfort and healing both inwardly and outwardly. It’s a simple gesture; an offering, if you will, of gratitude for life in general. Offer up a smile and watch the impact. See how it changes not only the atmosphere around you but also pervades your own Spirit. Bring Light to My people with this positive gesture, allowing it to permeate the very fiber of your being.
Don’t Buy the Lie
All deceitful thoughts that try to suggest you are “less than”, unworthy, tainted, or that you somehow just don’t measure up are lies. It is not only My Presence with and in you that is Good; it is also My design of you. Calm yourself with these words, allowing confidence to be bolstered. You are inherently Good and worthy of good things. How might you carry yourself differently in this day if you embraced your GREATNESS and your much-needed place in this world? Don’t buy the lie that you don’t belong wherever I place you today. Choose to love as I love, filled by the grace and power to do so. This includes loving yourself, made in My image. Peel away any hurtful images the world has imposed on you, and discard those at My feet. Allow Me to make you whole again.
Stay Close
I give you this day with all of its concerns and unknowns. I see your anxious eyes. You don’t have to be so afraid; I am a trustworthy God. Consider yourself a trusting toddler taking My hand as I lead you safely to places you’ve never been. I know where we are going. I am the one taking you there! Stay close by My side when you feel afraid. My protective arm is ever-ready to shield and comfort you. You are never alone.
A World of Belonging
You are My beloved. I sing to you in the morning air and reach to you all day long, even though you don’t always recognize My touch. I want to heal you from your wounds, hurts, fears, and transgressions. I recognize your deep fatigue and I long to help you find rest. Lean into Me. Press your ear upon My chest and hear the constant beat of love, love love. Let Me reassure you that all is well even though appearances may misguide you into thinking otherwise. Step into a world of belonging instead of fearing being an outcast. You are fully acceptable and wanted, My child. Be Mine this day.
Move Ahead With Me
You are ready. (More ready than you know). I have been leading, guiding, and strengthening you to prepare you for this day and the tasks before you. You must take this part one day at a time; don’t try to jump ahead. These days cannot be skipped over. There is a process to go through. You are no stranger to good-byes, which are also part of the journey. Lean on Me. My hands are upon your shoulders, giving encouragement, reassurance, and a gentle nudge forward – but My hands never fully release you. I stay in direct contact with you at all times. Move ahead with Me in holy trust.
Get Out of the Boat
Get out of the boat. Grab My hand and do not let go. Stop clinging to what you think is “safe”. I AM YOUR SAFETY NET. I have so many things destined for you, but you need to be willing to take the leap of faith into new waters. You are a leader by My design and I have been shaping and preparing you, step by step, for what will come next. All anyone needs from you is love. Love those around you today, and this will relieve your anxiety, too. Say yes, and don’t look backwards.
Go at My Pace
My precious, precious child – why do you get so anxious? I will not leave or abandon you – EVER. If you feel fearful, lost, or alone, – wondering “which way to go”, – turn to look up at Me as I take your hand reassuringly and confidently. Think of Me as your guardian and trust Me fully, – that I will lead you on exactly where you need to go. Keep your gaze upon Me whenever your steps feel unsteady or unsafe. My hand will pull you up upon the rocks of higher ground. Enjoy the walk; don’t try to run ahead of Me without My guidance. Slow down, and go at My pace, – one day at a time. You will find great peace in doing so.
Flourish
How can you question the GOOD in yourself so much? If only you could see as I see – what a marvelous sight to behold. Yes, I am talking to YOU. Take stock of the goodness and strength I have created in you. Trust me to water your garden and feed you the nutrients you need to FLOURISH. But you must take good care of yourself, as well. Be mindful of how you act, speak, and think – the choices you make to build up rather than criticize and to be healthy instead of indulging in harmful pleasures. I need you to be strong and healthy to fulfill My purpose I designed in you for this day. Take it one day at a time.
