At times it can feel like there are dark forces all around you. I equip you for battles when you must face or contend with them. Sometimes it requires words and actions. Other times the mere act of prayer, – inviting the Light in, – is enough to make darkness retreat. Love overpowers and peace rules when it is for My purposes and Good outcomes. Call upon My protective power and the army of saints will be available to assist you. My armament may require a humble stance at times, too. Let peace reign in your heart toward all. Be slow to judge and quick to forgive FIRST. If I call you to further action beyond that, you will know. Choose love as your sword and faith as your shield.

Rest is Primary
Turn down the volume of the radio in your head, trying to play several stations all at once. Try listening for the still, small voice which is Mine. Tenderly I tell you, “You are so loved”, – by many and by Me. Stop berating yourself and piling up the lists of actions you think are required to be worthy of love. It’s okay to sit still. Practice the art of doing less in order to grow strengthened for the journey ahead. There is much that will be required of you eventually. For now, though, rest is primary. Hear My words so that you can be rejuvenated before taking action.
Grip My Hand Tighter
Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Do you not remember that I am accompanying you every day, minute, and hour, – grasping your right hand every step of the way? Why do you loosen your grip? I will always let you choose to do things your way, but I still remain near and ever-present. Instead of feeling so stressed, pressured, and worried about the tasks and circumstances before you, try gripping My hand even tighter. Let Me lead you, one task at a time. Don’t cling to self-reliance. I can give you all the confidence needed to use your talents and energy for My divine purpose.
Use Your Genuine Compassion
I call you to do great works. My definition of “great” is different than the world’s, – sometimes done with small deeds in quiet simplicity. Be yourself as I designed you, using your genuine compassion for the Good of others. There is no need to put on airs or present yourself in distorted efforts to achieve status. You are already prominent in My eyes, and only My judgement matters. I equip all My children differently, providing an exquisite balance of needs and talents perfectly matched when you listen to My call and guidance. You cannot measure or manage another person’s gifts, but you can be responsible for your own and lead by example. Let kindness rule with forgiveness and compassion today. Many blessings occur and unfold in abundance with this practice.
Be My Presence in a Hurting World
Hear Me tell you loud and clear that you are loved. Your life and purpose are of great value to Me. Assist Me in combating darkness with compassion and healing. Strive to listen to the pain of others and be My Presence in a hurting world. I will stock your reserves with enough supply of tenderness and boldness on the shelves to meet the demand, and I’ll dance joyfully with you when the day’s good labor is done.
Sit Still, At Peace Inside
It is really important that you take big chunks of time out of your routine to break free from the demands of the day. Learn to sit still, relaxing your face and jaw, – breathing in and out deeply and slowly. I meet you in this space and place every time. Let Me remind you that I am in charge as your loving Provider. All the details will work out in due time whether you obsess about them or not. Strive to be at peace inside knowing I am trustworthy and reliable.
Plans
You spend so many hours and minutes mulling over plans. You are a good planner, but today I ask you to be on the receiving end. Allow other’s ideas and decisions to take the lead. Walk along gently and humbly as a great travel companion today. Trust Me; I am yours and I am also theirs. I will show up everywhere you go, -taking care of you. I want to heal your obsessive tendencies of trying to map everything out. Let go a little more today and see how majestic and interesting life can be without all the planning ahead. I will be with you in the midst of it all.
Release Concerns about Outcomes
My ways are higher, with lofty goals in store for you. I want you to get reacquainted with this concept – broadening your expectations with an openness to bigger things. In order to move forward this will entail letting go of life as you know it. To recognize My Plan for you, you must be willing to release concerns about outcomes. Let Me take care of that end. Be bold and brave, My love. You are ready for much more.
Spread Joyfulness
Days like today are such a gift! I love it when you wake up with a grateful heart and notice how the break of dawn brings such mysteries of hope, Light, and color. Take in My dappled sunlight, ever on the move and calling you to hold onto a Spirit of Joy. Be willing to spread that joyfulness. Let Me use you to bring hope and goodness to others simply by keeping a twinkle in your eye and a grin on your face. You can lift the mood of a whole environment this way.
Don’t Dread Getting Started
I call out “Come! Follow Me.” Allow excited or joyful anticipation of Good things to take over your heavy-laden mind. You don’t have to dread getting started because I’m already here. You can let go of the tendency to worry or fret. I will work it out somehow before all is done. Let’s move into today’s activities together.
