Practice the art of peaceful smiling. Just pause, look around, and put forth a grateful grin toward all you see in the moment, knowing that you and I are meeting right here, right now. Like our own little secret, you can take pleasure in this connection. Trust that I am here, bestowing Goodness upon you. I am working everything out for your future so you don’t have to worry or think about that right now. Just smile and say, “You’ve got this, God, – and I’ve got you, so all is well”. Thank Me as I smile upon you, as well.

Let Life Unfold
Come to Me, oh My anxious one. Relax that jaw that clenches so tightly as your mind tries to keep up with your agendas. In My plan, things don’t have to be so hurried. Yes, there will be pressing things to attend to, but you can always approach them with slow confidence,- knowing that I am in charge and trusting My outcomes. You cannot plan for everything in life, so why don’t you stop trying so hard to make things turn out as you picture or imagine? For today, let life unfold and try just observing and participating without attempting to be on top of it all. Let Me be the Master of your time and see how calming this can be.
I Ask for Love
I Am always with you. Let that resonate within you, – DEEPLY within. I’m not just “here” or “there”, but everywhere. Behold My Presence to help you through the day. Go and act according to this. I don’t ask for obligation, I ask for Love. What is the most loving response you can offer in any given situation today?
I Am Involved
Put your trust in Me. I am involved in your life, already at work. Good things are coming your way. Do work that exalts My name. I need your strength of voice and character and spirit to lead others. Don’t confuse people’s unhappiness as being a sign that you are doing something wrong or not doing enough. Show love just as I have love for you. Let Me take care of the outcomes, knowing I am involved in their life, too. You can still be happy without feeling guilty that others are not.
Invest Trust In Me
Stop fretting. I AM is with you- All powerful and All wonderful. I have designed a place for you. I Am here to catch you, to listen, and to hold you when you cry out. I have ahold of your right hand already and will lead you where to go just as I have done for My people from age to age. Try to enjoy this day, not worry about it. Invest a little trust in Me and what I can do.
Let Me Help You With That
I am a God who loves you. The world has messed you up a bit. I don’t control that part because I allow you and others to make your own choices. Choosing to love and forgive is hard on your own. Let Me help you with that. I also ask you to love yourself, which may involve self-forgiveness and recognition of your true value and likability. I can’t control what you tell yourself daily, but it breaks My heart when you despise or chastise your inner self. Ask for My help to be kind, loving, and forgiving instead – especially to yourself first. This will spill onto your interactions with others.
Mending Self-Blame
I can pick up the pieces of your shattered heart. Let Me take all of the factors that caused it to break: hurt, disappointment, and self-blame. The hardest one to mend is the self-blame. You worry so much about every detail in retrospect, but I call you to focus FORWARD. When you spend so much time looking back with regret and shame, I cannot lead you ahead. Entrust Me with what was in the past, leaving it behind you. I place you with a clean slate in the present, – forgiven. Step into the day open to possibility and change. Redirect your thoughts when they try to slip back into habits of self-blame and regret, pointing your sights ahead instead to follow My aim for you.
Cut Yourself Some Slack
You have a hard time giving yourself permission to take a break. Even when the break involves communication with Me, you still feel the urge to rush off and ‘be productive’ elsewhere. Cut yourself some slack. Get in tune with the essential nature of finding quiet time with Me. I can make your movement so much more efficient and effortless, but your striving must be for building My kingdom. Any other purpose will make you spin your wheels and burn out your engine. Be ignited for My plans, fueled by quiet thought and prayer time daily. Giving yourself room and permission to pause doesn’t make you a ‘slacker’. It’s essential to become grounded with Me first and foremost.
Be Encouraged
I have words of inspiration and encouragement for you today. Words of reassurance that I make all things new! Whatever is troubling you or weighing you down, let Me have a go at it. I tear down walls and rebuild bridges. You know Me. Our history shows that I am a God who parts waters, washing the hostility away behind you as I bring you to new ground. Be encouraged, and allow Me to give you vision with a new perspective. I am the God who renews and regenerates. Take it in.
Every Little Thing
I am your God. Have you forgotten what that means? I am Sovereign, Almighty, Maker of all things. Be careful not to think you are too busy to spend time with Me, or that I don’t want to be bothered with your requests. Nothing is too trivial for Me. Bring every little thing to Me right along with the big stuff. I notice every detail. Let Me scrutinize distractions that you are better off releasing. See My kind eyes tenderly noticing every inch of your face and all of your emotions. I see you worrying that you can’t handle it all. Don’t forget to bring it to Me. Allow Me to love and attend to you deeply today.
