Tenderly I surround you. The harshness of the world has at times taken its toll on you. Still, I make every day new and fresh. Allow yourself to shake the dust from yesterday’s concerns off of your feet, and move on into the newness of today. See how I light up the world! All does not have to feel so oppressive, negative, stressful, or overbearing when you open your awareness to My Presence. I am the Light of the world, in whom there is NO DARKNESS, and you, My beloved, are directly tied to Me. Absorb this Light and make Goodness happen in this day despite any and all circumstances you are confronted with. Know Me, and share this gift with others who as yet do not see or recognize My Presence in and around them.
Goodness
Don’t Buy the Lie
All deceitful thoughts that try to suggest you are “less than”, unworthy, tainted, or that you somehow just don’t measure up are lies. It is not only My Presence with and in you that is Good; it is also My design of you. Calm yourself with these words, allowing confidence to be bolstered. You are inherently Good and worthy of good things. How might you carry yourself differently in this day if you embraced your GREATNESS and your much-needed place in this world? Don’t buy the lie that you don’t belong wherever I place you today. Choose to love as I love, filled by the grace and power to do so. This includes loving yourself, made in My image. Peel away any hurtful images the world has imposed on you, and discard those at My feet. Allow Me to make you whole again.
Give Your Shoulders a Break
There is no need for all this distress. Your tendency to hyper-plan and fret only serves to block My Light. I already have the way planned out for you, My child. Don’t waste your energy on needless and excessive worrying. Instead, ask for Grace to wash over you with resulting reassurance. I am a Good and merciful Lord. Let Me bear the burdens and give your shoulders a break. Come to Me and I will ease your pain. No concern goes unnoticed by Me. Breathe, and allow My Light and peace to soothe you. Let Me help carry the load.
Don’t Cling to the Stress
Do not cling to the things that stress you out. When you mull them over and over, thinking you must solve everything all at once, you become tangled up. I don’t want you to start your day with bundles of worry. Let Me help unravel you, one thing at a time. You will see how insignificant these stressors can be once My Light shines on them and things start to fall into place – either resolved or released into My care. I call you to peace, but you must lean upon Me! Trust My almighty hand at work in your life. This does not mean I will make all things easy, – but I do make all things manageable and help them work together for Good. Look for the Good in this day with small reassurances that I am present. My hand is indeed at work!
Flourish
How can you question the GOOD in yourself so much? If only you could see as I see – what a marvelous sight to behold. Yes, I am talking to YOU. Take stock of the goodness and strength I have created in you. Trust me to water your garden and feed you the nutrients you need to FLOURISH. But you must take good care of yourself, as well. Be mindful of how you act, speak, and think – the choices you make to build up rather than criticize and to be healthy instead of indulging in harmful pleasures. I need you to be strong and healthy to fulfill My purpose I designed in you for this day. Take it one day at a time.
You Take After Me
Flaws and all, I have made you uniquely and I am IN you. My children often forget that Goodness. You have MY genes in you! That’s what makes you “in My image”. Head into this day realizing you are more like Me than you’ve given yourself credit for in the past. You take after Me. You resemble Me with your mannerisms, wit, grace, style,and kindness. Take the best traits in Me and make them all part of you today. You can come by it naturally. It won’t be hard.
Bracing for Difficult Encounters
I see you, and I know your heart. You are weary from the frenzied thoughts always trying to plan for the unexpected, control the unknown, and fix things beyond your control. You are tired of bracing yourself for difficult encounters so often. You desire peace and reconciliation, but both feel beyond your grasp. Hear Me reminding you that you simply do not have to bear or do all of this on your own. Rest your weary head on My all-capable, consoling shoulders. Lean in to Me with your wounded, anxious heart. I am the Giver of all Good, and I intend to mend the torn tapestry within your life. I want your beautiful, colorful, intricate fabric to be on full display, brightening the room. The few frayed edges merely speak of a life well-worn. There is nothing to hide, nothing you have to keep bracing for all alone. Use My grace to find strength and confidence within.
Relieve You of Needless Anxiety
You are My wonder! I give you free will to choose how to live. It pleases Me when you demonstrate trust in Me with your choices, but no matter what, I love you. My plan is meant to support you, not hinder. I love seeing you receptive to trying new things, and being willing to pursue and persist even when the going gets tough. Come to Me with your choices and listen for guidance in the way you may go if you want to be in line with what I had in mind for you. I want to relieve you of needless anxiety this way.
A Glad Heart
This is the day the Lord has made. I ask you to be glad and rejoice in it. Don’t let simple worries or spinning imaginings of “what if’s” take away your capacity to be content in the moment. I am your God, and I desire to bring about good things including justice and kindness. Bring me an act of love or a glad heart as your worship offering today.
Wash Away Dark Thoughts
Take a big breath in. Hold it, then release slowly, breathing out anxiety and troubling thoughts. Breathe in Light, Goodness, Peace. Breathe out worries, restlessness, anger, sadness, and fear. Do this repeatedly until you can clear the way to feeling and seeing My Presence behind your closed eyes. So little of what you worry about ever comes true, or even matters in the grand scheme of things. I don’t mean to say that your feelings are not important to Me; heavens no! But I am trying to teach you that My Peace is there for you more readily than you may be allowing against your clutter of needless worry. My love is dazzling, with pure and clean waters all available to help you wash away dark thoughts. Let Me help push away that which clouds your head and heart. Go to My well and have your fill.
