Let yourself embrace a broader view. You can walk into this new year and into any situation with confidence and curiosity once you accept the fact that I’ve got this, and I have so much more in store. My plans for you are BIG. Don’t let that thought intimidate you. You are small enough to be Mine, yet great enough to handle whatever is coming in tandem with Me and My purpose. Don’t kid yourself into expecting or desiring less. Get ready for more, anticipating that important and life-giving changes are ahead. My plans for you are GOOD.
Goodness
Do Something Small
Remain obedient to the call I place on your heart. Listen for Me daily as I gently guide you with each small task. You don’t have to see the full picture yet. It’s okay to do something small today. Each little piece adds up over time, and no act of kindness or intentional task completed in My name goes unnoticed by Me. Do these things in a Spirit of Love and willingness. Your servant heart is glorious to behold and gives My hope to others.
Enough to Get By
You are content and full. Sit with that image, acknowledging that I supply for all your needs…no more and no less than what is needed. Occasionally I send over-abundance. Perhaps you feel the opposite is true, worrying that you won’t have or be enough to get by. Fear is lying when it tells you that. I will never, – I repeat! – NEVER abandon or forsake you, – especially in your time of need. Take stock in My adequate provision for the next 24 hours. You can and will get by. I’ll supply everything that’s needed, one day at a time.
Hang With Me in the Present
Don’t jump too far ahead with all your imaginings. I have plenty in store for you in just this day alone. Reel those thoughts in when they try to shift you into planning mode. Pull back and remind yourself to hang with Me in the present. Find the glory in the current moment. You’ll be better able to recognize Goodness when you turn to seek My smiling face. Let’s take notice in moments like this together often today, – thoroughly enjoying each other’s presence.
Hard On Yourself
You are special to Me. I am so pleased with you! You are very hard on yourself and this breaks My heart. Don’t fall into the trap of needless anxiety or unwarranted shame. I call you to a life that THRIVES! Abundant life, filled with Goodness. Face your days with eyes seeking and anticipating My Goodness. This perspective is critical to your capacity to receive. Thwart the tendency to worry or over-plan for potential disaster. Smash those worries with a rock of confidence in My powerful plan for Goodness. Be bold and purposeful on this path.
Unnecessary Guilt
Getting rid of unnecessary guilt is key to finding peace. Stop thinking you are so responsible for everything. You can’t control the outcomes of every situation, nor do I expect that from you. Work on recognizing when you are taking unnecessary blame on yourself. Sometimes all your effort still produces disappointing results. You can’t fix others emotions. Show that you care through your love, but release the desire to control outcomes. Hand that part over to Me because I know what I’m doing. Be kinder to yourself. I recognize your good intentions, and I love you.
Be Ready for Good Things
You can be excited about all I have in store for you. The day is coming when you will reap benefit from what you’ve sewn, with confidence restored. I provide abundant healing of old wounds. Keep using the talents I have given you. If you haven’t used them lately, ask My Spirit to help you find an avenue to do so again. Invest thought time in re-building yourself up, making way for all that is to come. Be ready for GOOD things to occur. Allow yourself the joy of anticipation.
Embracing the Best
It doesn’t have to be so hard. So many of the things you picture in your head or worry about never come true. Rather than always bracing for the worst, try embracing the best today. Picture things turning out well, and live into this. Know that as a loving God I desire good things for you. They are already on the way! Life with Me, daily, can bring unimaginable and far-reaching joy.
See Yourself As I See You
Know that I am GOOD. Know that I also fill YOU with Good. Stop disdaining your human mistakes. It hurts Me when I hear you putting yourself down. Embrace yourself, flaws and all, seeing that the Good far outweighs the negative or any frailties. Try to see yourself as I see you. In My Light there is radiant love, appreciation, forgiveness, and complete acceptance. See My view of you, that you may be radiant with JOY.
Strength of Character
I seek your undivided attention fixed on My loving Presence, awaiting My gifts for you in this day. I give you daily bread, which includes sustaining you to be a positive presence to others who need Light in a dark world. Encouragement comes easily for you. Don’t be discouraged by small mishaps or other’s negativity. Show strength of character instead, offering mercy and compassion. My Spirit will guide your steps and give you the right words to say. Your job is simply to trust Me in that experience. Trust my good intentions and find great reward.
