Wrap yourself in My blanket of love and allow Me to warm you to your core. Be released from the discomforting chill of worry, stress, pain, and unrest. Wrap it tightly, and take enough time under it to allow Me to work on you. I can recharge you, soften your edges, and refocus your mind if you elect to stay here long enough. You can put it on anytime throughout the day and feel its medicinal effects on your spirit.

The little things you do add up. If I were to sum up all that you have done for the world and for Me, it would be as high as a mountain, – yet you cannot see as I see. Trust Me, that even in the little things…every dish you wipe, every person you listen attentively to, every dog you pet and weed you pull and task you complete…it all brings about My Goodness. My beloved child, I mean it when I say, “In you I am well-pleased”. Be kind in your inner voice today. You are very deserving of love.

Somewhere deep inside, you already know that I am with you and for you. You recognize that you are loved for exactly who you are in that central place of knowing. The world and its challenges make awareness of that deep truth murky and blurred. I call out to you, “Be still…I am here, waiting.” Find Me here, and recognize once again that I’ve been with you all along. You are never alone or forsaken. Whatever is going on, we can handle it together. Let My love originating from that central place refresh and enliven you once again.

Beware of trying to handle everything on your own. This trips you up and triggers anxious thoughts. The critical voice loves to sneak in at those times and make you feel you are somehow falling short. I know otherwise about you! I see the loving intentions, capable actions, and thoughtful approaches you exhibit. I know your true self, and I also know you can trust Me to help you every minute and every hour of the day. Don’t get tripped up thinking it’s all up to you. Relax and enjoy the day with Me leading the steps.

All of this striving for perfection is having a reverse effect on you. Unrealistic self-expectations make people more critical and less accommodating. I never ask for perfection from you. Instead, I suggest you come to Me as little children. What child do you know who has never made mistakes or gotten into messes? What child never weeps or gets mouthy or angry on occasion? And yet, their parent loves them. Let Me console you and encourage you, helping build you back up to recognize you are just as lovely with flaws than without any. Those “without flaws” are usually tightly wound, intimidating, and less approachable. Work on taking yourself a little more lightly, allowing truthful expression of emotions and a whole range of them. It’s what makes you alive. Live in the realm of My love without pretenses and a little more in love with yourself today.

Hear Me telling you I am delighted with you! Why do you question and second-guess your every thought and actions with such criticism? That is not how I see you. Your expectation bar may be set a little too high, not allowing room for error and Grace to fill in. Move that bar to a more reasonable, rational, and attainable level. Be kind to yourself in your head, especially as you start to recognize My overwhelmingly unconditional love for you. Bask in this truth, and push the critic far away today, for that voice has no place of belonging in you.

Just love. My message to you today is as simple as that. Some use the phrase “do the next best thing”. I can assure you that if your motivation is to show love, it will definitely be the next best thing you can do. It’s important to toss some healthy self-love in the mix, too. Your whole life doesn’t have to be about serving others to the point of depleting yourself. Do what is needed to fill your bucket first, then go out refreshed and ready to live and love well.

Ponder this in your heart: you matter! You are already forgiven for anything you’ve done wrong in this world, so release the grip that past has on your life. All is well now, and you are free to meet Me here. I send My Holy Spirit to stay with you, so you have a personal guide for how to make daily choices. Talk to Me. Ask My Spirit to help when you feel anxious or troubled. And don’t forget – I am with you FOREVER. You are freed, unshackled, and safe. Whenever you strike yourself down, you wound Me alongside you because we are that intertwined. Use the Power of My Love to build yourself up and others. Your chains are gone and you’ve been set free by My amazing Grace.

Instead of resenting the volume or complexity of all the challenges in front of you, try approaching them from My deep well of compassion and love. From those waters you can find strength beyond your imagining, and enrichment from the tasks you complete in this way. I am a God of Love, and I chose you as My companion, not as a “slave”. You are recognized, valued, and Good, and you have the free will to choose this life. If you elect to submit to My Divine purpose for your life today, be amazed by what all we can accomplish together. Regardless of your choice, My Love is always there for you.
