Take delight in My Goodness and My reign over you, allowing Me to alleviate all that worry or fear of unworthiness. Let Me show the abundance of goods and opportunities ahead, helping you anticipate joy and gratitude for many blessings.

The world is full of busy-ness. I call you to a place of calm and stillness so you can sense how near I am. While things around you clamor for your attention, I sit and wait patiently for you to turn your gaze to Me. Seek My compassionate and reassuring eyes, waiting to receive you with total love. Allow Me to smooth away the wrinkles and tension of the world, helping you to stop feeling so bad about yourself all the time. Let’s wash those things away, taking responsibility for whatever interactions need to happen to repair hurts, seek forgiveness, or release your self-blame. Breathe deeply, knowing I make all things new. Turn to Me and become repaired, whole, and freed.

I know your residual fears and I see those worries cropping up in your head. What I desire most is for you to trust that I am reliable, and I am here for you. I will not drop you. I never leave your side. I also don’t inflict these challenges on you. Look for My loving face again, reminded of the love and joy we once had when you recognized and relied upon My attentive care. I see your pain and hear your thoughts. Keep talking to Me. This is a two-way street. You don’t have to feel like the conversation is only one-sided, as if I am merely a God who listens but never responds. I ‘get’ you more than you realize; you don’t have to convince Me of your needs or intentions. I am aware of all the frailty and vulnerability you carry inwardly. Believe, Me, I am using your life for Goodness. I attend to every detail, loving you through all things. Hear My voice reassuring you that I am tenderly responding to your every need.

If you are challenged by disappointment, hurt feelings or discouragement, turn to Me for comfort. Do not retaliate when these things happen. If I close a door or you encounter hardships, consider that I may merely be nudging you in a new direction. I never place hurt in someone’s life, though. Don’t attribute things that cause pain to being derived by Me because I am not that kind of God. Instead, recognize that I accompany all when they are hurting or in trouble. I’ll walk with you, picking up the pieces and providing healing into a new design for good. Work on not taking offense. Instead, take steps of trust, knowing that you are ever so loved.

I see when you are perching yourself on a pedestal of righteousness. I know that stems from you feeling hurt or wronged. It takes so much negative energy to be constantly judging other’s behaviors or intentions, or feeling bitter, angry, and annoyed by their actions. How about this: let’s trade seats for a while. Let Me be the judge of others as you climb down from that high seat, allowing Me to be the one carrying the burden of criticism. Only I can see the truth. Find that in walking humbly you can also experience greater peace. Let Me relieve you of unnecessary burdens and rid you of residual hurt so you can walk freely.

My love for you is not dispensed only by your good works or positive intentions. My love is totally free and ever-available. This is hard to wrap your head around because you are always trying so hard to “do what’s right” and be “good/kind/considerate enough”. Let Me tell you again that you are already “good enough” for Me and I love you completely as you are. Think about how knowing and trusting the truth of these words may change how you act and think today. Stop using guilt and worry as your motivators. Simply be compelled to be lovingly accepting of yourself and others, relaxing into this God-fueled mindset. As you learn to show compassion for yourself this will ease your distress.
