I don’t call you to a life that is HARDER. The slowing of your pace or productivity, if done for My Purposes, is totally acceptable. There are times requiring much of your focus and energy, but I am also a God of replenishment. The world’s standards and demands can pull you in many directions, yet I call you to simplify. Ask for My Guidance as you discern when to move and when to rest; when to interact and when to be still. In all things, know that I am God.

Kindness. This is the gift I seek for you to know and to give. A word that sustains. A listening ear. Hear My voice whispering soft lullabies of reassurance to you. Experience My tender touch on your life, wrapping you in soft blankets. Be gentle and kind with yourself and others in this hurried and hurting world.
Get Going
Get up. Get going! We have things to do together today! Be ignited and excited by our partnership in the tasks ahead of you. Think of Me as your business partner – equally invested and fully “in” for the long-haul. Don’t get caught up in calculating the return on that investment or worrying about productivity. Take on the work at hand as if it’s mission work: done with love and passion without thinking of the payoff. Whether in big or small tasks, lay it all down at the end of the day, trusting that it’s enough. That’s all I ask of you.
Level With Me
Listening to Me does not always mean something ‘profound’ will be heard. Instead, I may instead be sending simple guidance, like “Make that call”, “Get up and take a short break”, “Go for a walk and notice the breeze”, or “It’s okay to feel ______”.The biggest thing to realize is that My conversation is constant. I want to hear from you. I am inside and around you, accompanying every moment and intertwined in every experience. Talk to Me. Share with Me. Level with Me. I already know what’s going on but I want to hear it from you. I am here, listening and responding in mysterious but real ways.
Benefit Others Even in the Mundane
Let Me reach you in the mundane. If something you are working on seems dull and repetitive, try looking a little deeper at how you contribute to the benefit of others through these menial tasks. Every time you fold a load of laundry, wash a dish, pack a lunch, respond to an email…you do it for Me and for the good of all. See My purpose in the little things you do and take comfort knowing everything you do out of love MATTERS. It matters to Me and is therefore important for My world. You are valued and needed.
I Ask for Love
I Am always with you. Let that resonate within you, – DEEPLY within. I’m not just “here” or “there”, but everywhere. Behold My Presence to help you through the day. Go and act according to this. I don’t ask for obligation, I ask for Love. What is the most loving response you can offer in any given situation today?
I Am Involved
Put your trust in Me. I am involved in your life, already at work. Good things are coming your way. Do work that exalts My name. I need your strength of voice and character and spirit to lead others. Don’t confuse people’s unhappiness as being a sign that you are doing something wrong or not doing enough. Show love just as I have love for you. Let Me take care of the outcomes, knowing I am involved in their life, too. You can still be happy without feeling guilty that others are not.
All That Matters
You have strength and courage beyond that of many. It is your leadership I desire, and you are doing that. There is no need to doubt yourself. Lay your burdens and anxiety on Me. I will not break what I have begun, and I have already started a good work in you. You are pleasing in My sight! That is all that matters: not people’s judgement, criticism, or praise. My song in your heart is all you need. Take heart, for I am always with you.
Instilled Ability
I have big things in store for you – bigger than you can even imagine. Let My plan unfold with an open mind to all that I call you to do. You are already Mine, – instilled with ability to bring about my purposes of healing, connection, and kingdom-building. Trust Me with this every day work, uttering a willingness to accept whatever is laid before you. Nothing will be too hard with Me there to guide and accompany you. You can even be peaceful in the process. There’s no need to waste energy on anxiety. Put aside those old ways, ready for all that’s coming.
Be the Personable You I Created
Yield to My beautiful design for you, full of love and tremendous purpose. You are a good person, so stop questioning that. Smart, thoughtful, capable, loving, – and oh-so-sensitive. I see you trying very hard to make life special and supportive to others. You care, deeply. You, My dear, make a positive difference in the world. Get back on track believing this. Don’t let self-doubt shake this foundational truth about you. Go, – be with others and picture yourself comfortable in these shoes of sociability. Be the personable you I created. Remember who formed you!
