When your routine gets shifted due to circumstances beyond your control, turn to face Me. Let My gaze reassure you that everything will still be okay. You don’t have to be anxious in response. I will usher you in the new direction, never leaving your side. I will help steady your feet and your reactions. Breathe and find calm within you where My spirit resides to help keep you grounded. Trust that you can adjust to unplanned changes because I will always be there to help.

Ready for Whatever

No matter how hard the effort looks, just show up today. Show up to work, to conversations, to visits, – whatever I lay on your heart. I will make sure you have what you need to make it through. Show up for Me, because I’ve asked you to. When you arrive with an attentive presence like this, I’ll overwhelm you right back in good ways. It won’t be nearly as hard as you think or fearfully imagine it to be, because you can trust Me to equip you for every little detail. You’ll have the words and energy making you ready for whatever. You can rely on Me to prepare you thoroughly.

Relax Your Face

Relax your forehead, face, and jaw. You carry so much tension at times, unaware of how hard you are striving and concentrating. Remember, you can release the planning into My capable hands for a minute and actually find a sense of calm and peace descend. Just close your eyes for a moment and breathe deeply, perhaps telling yourself “It’s okay. I can trust God to help work it all out.” You CAN trust Me; this is an absolute truth. I do so love you and am caring for every detail and concern in your life.

A Flexible Attitude

Try not to get flustered today. When something or someone starts to ruffle your feathers, take a breath and turn to face Me. I will help you allow differences of opinion or changes in direction and outcomes with a flexible, amenable attitude. Be open to things even when they don’t go your way. This may be a time for personal growth. As you release your own agendas, you will be encouraged by the trust you invest in My plan unfolding in a divine direction. I will take care of you through it all; I promise.

Say Yes

I still have work for you to do, but that doesn’t have to sound or feel intimidating. My works are easy and will come naturally to you because you are designed by Me. You know what it feels like to be capable and competent based on skills you’ve honed or experiences you’ve been through in the past. Be open, therefore, to whatever I lay before you. When you are presented with something new, don’t show away or retreat out of self-doubt. Instead, say yes – even with shaky hands – because you know how to cling to My grip. Strap in for the ride ahead, picturing yourself joyfully experiencing sights unseen with Me, your reliable copilot, at your side.

Relaxed and Unphased

Just show up today, without expectation or undue pressure as to what you think you must accomplish. Look to Me with a fresh face, open and ready for what I may surprise you with. Start with Calming Reassurance

You can rely on Me. No matter what you are facing today or in the days ahead, I am right there with you. Grasp My hand and hold tight to steady yourself instead of giving in to old habits of anxiety and worry. I want happiness for you, starting with calming reassurance. Anxiety stems from mistakenly thinking you won’t have whatever it takes to move through life’s experiences, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. I will equip and sustain you with more than enough for what you need. Trust Me in this truth and in My love for you, which is always there to steady you.

Less Critical of Yourself

Try being less critical of yourself and see how this impacts your ability to show Grace better to others. Everyone has flaws, but this does not make anyone less-than-perfect in My eyes. I design all with unique traits, and imperfections have their place in making the world more relatable. Instead of judging yourself and others so harshly, try viewing shortcomings with a different lens, knowing no one is better or less than anyone else from My perspective. Using this, you will be better able to love unconditionally, including how well you love yourself. See how this enables you to be more at peace deep inside, too.

Peace When a Storm is Coming

O My precious child, I see when your emotions get so stirred up. You don’t have to hide them from Me. I see behind the mask you present to others telling them you are okay and everything is fine, while keeping your disappointment, fears, worries, and discouragement to yourself. I want the honest truth in all of your vulnerability so that I can provide the reassurance you’ll need to get through your todays and tomorrows. Knowing Me doesn’t mean no more troubles will come, but it does mean that all things will be manageable. You don’t have to second-guess how you’ll make it through; just rely upon Me more and you’ll find that peace is available even when it feels like a storm is coming.

A Sip of Contentment and Reassurance

You strive so hard. That busy head has a hard time shutting off or slowing down. Constant planning and busy-ness can be signs of how uncomfortable you are in the waiting and with silence, but you need not be so afraid. I’m inviting you to enter this new year differently. Come, sit often with Me at the well and experience My waters of grace and fulfillment. Take a sip of contentment and reassurance. I have you in the palm of My hands at all times. Sit in silence regularly with Me, truly handing each day over and practicing the art of trusting faith. Soon, you will find yourself actually longing for silence because you’ll understand how much our time together like this helps. Even if you only have a moment, seek My peace-filled Presence in silent communion with Me.
