You’ve heard the term “silence is golden”. Well, it is! A quieting of thoughts can be accomplished almost anywhere. Even with background noise, you can find an inner silence and solitude. It is here that I speak most clearly and may surprise you with insights, encouragement, and direction. Your silent presence with Me is just as necessary as water and bread for your life. I long to be in this intimate communion with you, showing you the way and the plans I have in store for you. Seek out times of silence with Me to hear best.

Time to Trust Me Again

Nothing is impossible with Me. I will clear any obstacle out of the way and give you all the tools you need to make it happen. This should come as no surprise to you. You’ve seen Me at work in your life before. It is time to trust Me again. Make way. There is no stopping My way unless you simply choose not to follow it, but why would you not want to follow My lead? Fear is your stumbling block, not Mine. Be open. Listen. Trust the picture I place in your mind and heart. Come with Me on this journey, living a full life.

Notice Things

Open the shades and peer outside. Take note of the stillness and calm of the morning. Like a blanket of snow, I cover the earth, – hovering over plants and grass, and blossoms awaiting their time in the spring. But I’m not just “out there”. I am inside, – in each home and each person, – including you. I’m the One peering out, giving you eyes that see and moments to capture in your mind. Let your aim today be to notice things with curiosity and delight. See how this lifts your Spirit and your mood. Be elevated by what you take in as you discover all I’ve laid out before you.

Embracing All the Sides of You

You are getting it, and starting to see that My view of you and My plans for you include loving and appreciating yourself more exactly as you are. I’ve instilled a bold drive in you just as much as a soft, sensitive side. I created you to shout as much as to whisper, to laugh as well as to weep. You are not only worthy of attending to others, but also of being attended to by Me and others. I want you to work at uncovering and tenderly embracing all the sides of you that you’ve tried to hide internally instead of selecting only what you think is appropriate or acceptable outwardly. Reveal it all to Me, because I like you just the way you are and I want you to like yourself, too.

You Are My Masterpiece

You are My masterpiece! How I’ve loved painting, sculpting, and rearranging you into a beautiful image. Do you recognize the beauty in you? How I would love to see you walking confidently today. Can you imagine the possibilities if you saw yourself as fully acceptable, accepted, richly blessed, and basking in grace? If only you would allow yourself to trust this truth using a simple act of breathing, “I choose to believe”. You can do this! It’s not egotistical to choose self-acceptance when viewing through the lens of My eye. I want goodness to surround you, and I desire for you to receive My love for you. Say yes! Say thank you. Choose to believe; that’s all I ask.

Where the Wind Blows

You know not where the wind blows, but I do. You don’t need to worry about that. Stride into today letting just enough breeze carry you to the destination arranged for these next 24 hours only. Resist the tendency to think ahead, and just relax into the day,  approaching it with curiosity and hopeful intrigue. You don’t need to map everything out in order to feel happy. See how not worrying about all the details and just letting life unfold enlivens your spirit.

Don’t Get Pulled Off Track Today

Each day people will do small deeds that are inconsiderate or unkind. Sometimes big injustices happen. Even so, I want you to release these irritations and frustrations into My care. Don’t allow your thoughts and emotions to run wild with ideas about how to tell others off or bring about justice on your own. This wastes important energy and will distract you from the peace and joy available within. Don’t get pulled off track today or be derailed by small injustices. Releasing things to My care doesn’t make you a “doormat”. It takes great strength of character to choose to walk away or to treat others with dignity and respect despite their behavior. My way is better. My way will free you and allow you to rise above any circumstance with great calm and internal respect. Pray for your enemies, even if this does not come easily. I will give you the grace, strength and wisdom in how to handle the situation if your heart is intent upon following My way.

Practice Love and Acceptance

So much of the world is presented in extremes: “right” vs. “wrong”; “my way” vs. “your way”. I am much more tolerant of frailties and misgivings. My will is for what is full of Goodness and Love, – the extreme Light of the world. I desire for you to practice that kind of love and acceptance of others even in their places of darkness. People get overshadowed by pride, ego, fear, and defensiveness. These get cloaked in anger, retaliation, gossip, and vengefulness. The best way to combat darkness is with LIGHT, – My Light. Picture yourself cloaked in shining garments, radiant with peace. You can be an element of Grace and Light in the world. Even if it’s only in one corner today, you can light up a room. I will equip you as you ask for help. Let Goodness triumph over darkness today; do not fear, for I will give you safety and reassurance.

I Appear in Mysterious Ways

You know My face. You’ve seen Me before a thousand times, but you don’t always recognize Me. I appear in mysterious ways, you know. Sometimes I am a stranger who greets you with joy. Sometimes I am close to you, as in a dear friend. I may appear as someone in need, but-  in fact, – it is YOU who is in need. Look for Me and you will find Me. Ask Me whatever it is that you need to ask. I am always listening, always present, always available. Listen to Me in return. I speak to you in many ways. Learn to recognize My face and voice. Trust yourself when you hear or catch a glimmer of what you think may be Me. I am closer than you think.

You Are Loved, Well, and Needed

Oh, My tender-hearted one. I see and hear your hidden self-reproach. Even though others have no idea how hard you are on yourself, I see it and hear it. Sit with Me a while and feel My reassuring arm of protection and comfort around your shoulders. Let’s get back at it today, shaking the dust of yesterday from your feet. Brush off the discouragement and rid yourself of the mean things you’ve told yourself. You don’t need that negativity taking up space in your head, – nor do I want that for you. Replace it with My reassurance that you are loved, you are well, and you are needed. Repeat this mantra throughout the day, because it is My truth for you, and My truth is all that matters.
